ICL is farcical Circus, and hence not covered by Rediff in their Cricket Columns. Forgive Rediff. But now CIRCUS column will start in Rediff, where ICL will covered by them.
Michael Vaughn's statement is absolutely right, but he can just leave it by thinking the fact that in cricket these type of incidents happen and the players just have to move on with the umpires decisions. I dont think he has to make Pietersen's dismissal a big issue by talking about the use of technology.
Kumar Sangakkara played beautifully in the Hobart match against Australia last month for his 192 before he was given out horribly when it was clearly shown that the ball hit the shoulder and then hit the helmet and was given out caught. Even there, the umpires did not show the mercy of giving the verdict to the third umpire. But strangely, neither Sangakkara nor jayawardene commented on this issue. Instead when the umpire apologized, Sangakkara gracefully accepted it. Think that if Sangakkara had not been given out, there was a definitely a chance for Srilanka to stun Australia!Unfortunately they lost by just 92 runs chasing 410!
Even the Great Tendulkar had been given out on so many occasions where even an LKG student knows that he was not out. But I have never seen Tendulkar or the respective captains crying like Vaughn!

Vayghan is right in questioning the umpire's decision and given hinting that the umpire must use technology when it comes to decision's which are not clear...however KevP has no right to stand ground and come back again after given out and then pressurise the umpire for a third umpire refferal this is something which only the non-asian cricketers can get away with.

vaughan is right because in such situation use of technology is offered to umpires to correct their mistake. All the player who are victims of such decision, may not face such things again and again.
One thing that, if sangakkara given out against bangladesh and srilanka suffered a defeat, they definitely critize the decision. So it is better to use technology in such decisions.
vaughan is a simple kind hearted man i saw live match at t.v & my judjement was kevin was not out but how could the umpires do this. technology should be used in such critical curcumstances. vaughan is right.

there was an australian umpaire. they are always thinks they are top of the world. everybody thinks the same if he is an aussie, yes we can understand their hard work, hungry for success but this is not the way to achive the success
