NXT GENERATION INDIAN AGGRESSION. REALITY : NEW AGE, NEW TACTICS - IT'S NO LONGER A GENTLEMEN'S GAME!
by Underground Underworld on Dec 07, 2007 06:30 AM  | Hide replies

FOR TOO LONG THE INDIANS HAVE BEEN UNDER THE 'WHITE' DOMINION AND SUBJECTION, IN SPITE OF 60 SOMETHING YEARS OF LIBERATION.

AND IF ONE YOUNGSTERS SHOWS SOME GUMPTION, FAKE OR REAL, IT IS A SIGN THAT THE GEN NXT IS WILLING TO KEEP THEIR HEADS HIGH AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT INDIANS ARE NOT THOSE SLOG WORKERS, NO MORE SLAVES TO THE OL'WHITE EMPIRE.

I AM NO SPECIAL FAN OF SHREESHANTH, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE INDIAN PLAYERS SHOW SOME 'NEW WORLD' CHARACTER, SINCE THIS IS A DOG-EAT-DOG WORLD, TODAY.

WHO SAID THAT AGRESSION IS THE DOMAIN OF THE AUSTRALIANS? AND WHY SHOULD INDIANS BE LIMPETS AND AT THE RECEIVING END?

.....AND THE AUSSIES NEED A PSYCHOLOGIST TO HELP THE YOUNGSTERS IN THEIR TEAM - TO LEARN TO COPE UP WITH THE 'NEW INDIAN AGRESSION'. THIS IS THE JOKE OF THE MONTH. SHOWS THAT OUR SHREE COULD BRING ABOUT SUCH A SHAKE-UP, THAT THEY NEED A PSHYCO TO COPE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A GREATER AGRESSIVE INDIA?
LAUGHING STOCK.....ROTFLOL!

MAN, WE NEED MORE OF SHREESHANTH TYPE OF PLAYERS, WHOEVER THEM MAY BE. NOT SHOULDER SLOUCHING VILLAGE BOYS, WHO JUST LEARNT CRICKET IN THE GULLIES (WHICH IS FINE). BUT OUR GUYS SHOULD ALSO BE STREET SMART AND WORLDLY WISE TOO.

THE COMMENTS MADE BY SHREE, ARE WORTHY OF PRAISE! THIS CARE-A-DAMN ATTITUDE IS WHAT THE REST OF THE PLAYERS REQUIRE TOO.
AND TRUST THAT SHREE WILL COME UP WITH BETTER BOWLING PERFORMANCES IN THE FUTURE. GUYS LIKE THIS ARE THE FUTURE OF INDIA!

POMMIE SUCKERS OF JELLY BEANS & AUSTRALIANS NEED NEW PSYCHE.

India in Australia

Shaun Tait bowling fast to Matthew Hayden in domestic match is clearly an Australian strategy to frighten Indian team. They are very good at mind games and are trying to damage the morale of Indian team. Waiting till Ganguly and company hook them for sixes. Don't worry we'll do well in Australia.

Aussies are just a bunch of pussies !

They create interesting mods of employment unheard of in professional sport. The last time I heard of a professional sports team do that was team France in soccer during the FIFA WC in 2002 and guess what happened... they got booted out in the first round. Hmmm good signs for Indian cricket team ?

Budhooooo. How can you compare soccer with cricket. 1st one needs physical, mental and temperment in full throttle in the other you get all the time in the world to think and execute. Soccer is like playing chess with self moving pieces

Actually all other cricketing nations should seek tips to tackle aussies agression....

Sressanth is injured. What role do you think Australia play in this? He played aggressive cricket and india welcomes that. Why is that a problem for you? Are u an Australian Hindustani?

If you could illuminate us with the lesson that you claim Aussies has imparted to us, it would also help!

Reading your quote itself a waste load to all Indians. Sreesanth is absolutely injured and that is the reason he is not in the team. drama may seen in a dream by gundu in the name of hindustani (in the name he is hindustani. Sreesanth will back to the Indian team and he will be the best fast bowler of India in the coming years... Cheers Sreesanth

Agression and Sledging go hand in hand with the Quality of cricket you play.
by nischal maniar on Dec 05, 2007 10:55 PM  | Hide replies

Despite showing ample of agression .. during the recent one day series against aussies. Indians lost the series. What purpose did the sledging or aggression solve ? If you show aggression you should also play that kind of quality cricket. If a bowler like sreesanth shows unnecessary aggression and then he gets hit for 3 fours in an over. What was he trying to prove ?
Aussies do sledging and aggression but at the end they win the match.

Well I agree with you.But its not absolutely required as well. The gr8 WI teams of 70s and 80s never resorted to any of these ..they had quality players ..bowlers who gave nightmares to batsmen around the world and batsmen who were as aggressive as you get.

Dude ... but for the aggression.. i really feel, it would have been a whitewash.. and then they aussie would have been talking big... but now they know, its matter of time, they are going to eat the pie they sowed.. they are doubtful on themselves... a loss can crack them.. for once they are .. they are afraid.. !!
India for that matter has changed, its fearless aggression, we may not win today but we are surely going to win.. somewhere someone has to make the change, we cant always be the lame duckers and think hmm. things will come on. NO you have to catch bull by the horn to tame it. In any sports, aggression is the mantra, be it Rafel Nadal, roger feddere .. or micheal shoemaker or take on any sports.. its not just one day they just rose into stardom... but its the constant aggression that made them what they are.. our guys are young, they are learning..
Its has to be fearless aggression, the fearlessness of failure that makes a man A MAN. Chake de India. I wish someday.. the hockey guys also learn to show the aggression in the field . not off the field.

India #2
by bhupindersingh bindra on Dec 05, 2007 10:48 PM  | Hide replies

India is on verge of being the second best Test-playing Team in the world behind Aussies.
They are having the right balance with Top run getters in the world in the middle order followed by the best WK-batsman Dhony, and best spinners in World Kumble and Harbhajan, giving support to Zaheer.
With Gambhir knocking the doors as opening batsman.
May be with little bit of luck favouring India(and of course the Umpires too),we can get the first series win in Australia next series,to get the top.

India is on verge of being the best Test-playing Team in the world...

2000/2001 - India won (thx to laxman and dravid at Eden Gardens)
2003/2004 - Series Drawn in Australia - Aus was saved by rain from losing the series the last day at the SCG
2004 Oct - Aus won the series 2-1 in India

So, its been even so far... Aussies have not really had a measure of the Indian test team in the past 6/7 years... despite what most of the Indians think, India has a very good test team. Also please remember that this is the Aussie team of the last seven years when they were at their peak with some very great players!

CatchTwentyTwo, This is a very good point. Compared to other teams, India's performance against Aus was not that bad. Just see how SL lost to Aus recently, they were hammered all over. But again India needs to maintain that record against. India needs to be aggressive (not in their actions like Sreesanth) but in the way they bat, field and bowl. Never let Australia dominate. Unfortunately India does not have a settled opening pair (Karthik is makeshift) and Jaffer (despite his recent good performances) still needs to prove on fast and bouncy wickets like in Aus. Moreover Indian pace bowlers need to bowl to their field.

But these Aussies are scared even of the Indian team! They hired a guru to teach them deal with a joker like Sreesanth!!! Wimps!

Indians are so jealous of the aussies ,if the aussies say we gonna trash india then they say wat do they think of themselfs ,if they say we gettin ready for Indias aggresion then they say aussies r scared ,why do much insecurity for the aussies ,u guys realise why the aussies come home with the cricket world cup and also with 200 plus gold medals and india with 3 bronze and get trashed by bangla in the wc ,cause trhe aussies enjpy their game and they give all sports equal importance tats why they r on the top .

Fear is a good way to prepare for some thing big. It always makes someone perfect. SO Aussies are doing that now. They prepare in different ways for the match and it will be shown in their performance. Indian team going well now..let it be like that and we expect good match performance from India.

Have anyone watched the Reliance that empathises the mobiles...picturising our boys with their dream for cricket. Most importantly you would come through the ugly way of ill-representing a little boy in yellow (aussie) dress being driven out. Such a poor, awkward way of exhibiting the jealous against the world champs. Shame on all those who produced!!

Are we talking about the test series or the one day series? Aussies have not dominated the Indian in any test series in the past seven years despite having some great players who are now retired. Credit is due where it belongs.

No wonder the Aussies need this! A test is on for the best test team in the world and I think India will compete and come up trumps this December. There are no facts (absolutely none) to back up any claims that Aussies have fared well against India in the past seven years.

If there are any, I would like to see them please. If there are none, are you guys simply blaming a good Indian test team because you are losers yourself in your own personal lives?

Come on guys, give credit where its due. The Indian "test" team has fared well, competed very well and performed to a high standard in both India and Australia in the past seven years against a team that had perhaps the best dream combination of a test team, which went on to win 15/16 consecutive tests before they were stopped by India.

So stop believing that the Indian test team is any lesser than the Australian test team. One day is another game altogether and I am not talking about that game here.

Well said Ashish, the Aussies have won the WCUP 4 times and been winning Test series after series for almost 2 decades but they got no right to open their mouth, whereas the big mouths of Sreesanth(who is hardly in the team)or Ganguly or Bhajji is headlines in all our magazines and websites...
This is typical Hypocricy, its a no win situation for any Team thats not us just cause they are winning so much our media and public bad mouth them for no reason,if India wins one test match in 25 yrs in AUS(never won a series there)then its such great thing, whereas even after AUssies win WCUP 4 times and loose 1 ODI then Aussies are so easily Beatable..

But the question is why are the Aussies hiring a guru to teach them how to deal with Sreesanth? What kind of wimps get rattled by jokers like Sreesanth?
