Sant Gyanni
by Sandeep Bajpai on Dec 06, 2007 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

Hi all,
I found that this guy called "sant gyanni" is a highly arrogant and cheap individual who keeps insulting people using foul language and abuses them for the region or geography they belong to. He uses cheap words and always tries to thrust his views on the readers. In an elite and educated forum, i think such guys should be banned. I have tried to answer him back, but i discovered that in that process, i am demeaning myself, as all that will have no impact on this guy. So i thought i will initiate this topic for discussion and let the group moderators decide what is best.

Team India is performing well without the Coach. Lets continue it and Kristen is not the best choice.

From your name, i would say you would be better of begging for alms rather than commenting in such an elite forum.

End of sachin, sourav,Dravid&kumble in Gary s tenure :)

AS far as the Indian team is concerned, Kirsten is thrilled rather than daunted by the prospect of working with at least four players - Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Kumble - who are approaching the end of their careers. "I have always been in favour of players having the decisive say in the end of their careers," Kirsten said. "They are all great cricketers and if I can help them to map out what they want from the final 12, 18 or 24 months of their careers, then I'll be delighted to do so.

"There comes a time when you know it's over, even if you want to carry on. I know that. I was fortunate to score five centuries in my final year and average about 65, so there's always a part of you that says 'carry on a bit longer'. But there's no better feeling than getting out [while you're] at the top, and hopefully that's something we can talk about. But ultimately it should be the players' decision," Kirsten said. "I know what it feels like to wrestle with your emotions and have conflicting instincts. But they are all great players and they deserve to go out on their terms. I'd hate to see any of them dropped or carrying the drinks as 12th man."

No Need of outsider coach!
by Milind on Dec 05, 2007 03:08 PM  | Hide replies

Look at this comparison... do we need outsider as a coach? Why can not we ask Sachin or Rahul to be a playing coach?

Mat Runs HS BatAv 100 50

Gary- 101 7289 275 45.27 21 34
Sachin-142 11289 248* 55.06 37 47
Rahul- 114 9622 270 56.26 24 49

Abhey sant gyaani, you must be a chamaar, as only a chamaar can talk such ridiculous things with such an amazing consistency. And you are talking about man managment, just look at your "self- managemnet" before advising people.

The South Africans have tough standards for physical fitness...There is going to be conflict between Gary and our lazy and old cricketers...Eventually the "Seniors" will play politics and boot him out

KIRSTEN SEEMS MEDIA LOVING AND VISIBILITY-CENTRIC
by vaibhav kumar on Dec 05, 2007 11:30 AM

Whether Kirstren will make a good coach for Team India or not, the time will tell, but there are some points which are really painful, being an Indian and a hard core cricket fan:

1. Kirsten shown too much tentativeness to accept the offer. He never applied for the post, so he can leave it any point in time, saying it was not him, who was willing to offer, but it was Gawaskar, who offered him the post. STILL FAIL TO UNDERSTAND, WHY SUCH A PRESTIGIOUS POST SHOULD BE GIVEN TO AN UNKNOWN CREDENTIALS TO COACHING DOMAIN.

2. Kirsten has offered almost racsist remarks about India as a sub-continent, culture, food ahbits etc. etc., Can we really place a blind eye to that.

3. Too many cooks spoil the borth" situation. With Lalchand, Robin, Prasad and a few whom Kirsten wants to hire FOR HIS SURVIVAL, will make another CHAPPELWAY saga.

4. Kirsten is forced to go to Australia, so if team does not mould very quickly, we know how Australia can route a confused opposition. Blame will go to BCCI for not giving Kirsten, enough time to adjust.

IS THERE ANY BENEFIT/RISK RATIO FOR KIRSTEN BEING THE COACH THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. OR, GAWSKAR, WITHOUT TAKING AWAY ANYTHING FROM HIS STATURE AND TEAM TO CHOOSE COACH, GOT CARRIED AWAY, HAS MADE A WOEFUL DECISION FOR INDIAN CRICKET.

Fielding coach and bowling coach
by shonur on Dec 05, 2007 10:54 AM

Why Robin singh is unable to lift the fielding standards of indian players.
We have dropped 50 catches so far in his tenure.
Venkatesh prasad has also failed to create an impact on the bowling dept.

And now we have a caoch who is an openner batsman
