To me Malik does not desreve a permanent place in PAK Test XI. He holds the place of an Allrounder. But, at present he doen not bowling. He can not be selected purely as a batsman, especially when pak have so many youngsters waiting. In One day team he is a surety.Hence, he can be captain. So I would prefer Pak to appoint a new captain for Tests.

Shoaib Malik has indian wife, so he may be suspected. We shoukd defend the son in law of India.
Feel sorry for both.... A caption can manipulate his team only with the given players....seeing what Malik had under his diposal its very sad if he gets the axe....injuyies and non performance ....by himself and few senior players... PCB wld have discussed to Lawson before selecting him as a coach that they want to c the desired result after a particular period....and say few months is the going to be good....
well, the board there seems to be no different from indian jokers here. what are they talking abt ? changing horses mid course ? and thats supposed to bolster the team ? they have gone nuts.
.... and let them off this stress because it is really pathetic on part of PCB to put them under scanner and not younis khan, and mohd yusuf who, being seniors failed to perform. They are even bigger jerks by doing this. I guess they will make younus khan the captain. He is good but whom will you replace as coach? :-) Lawson better leave pakistan and come to India as bowling coach. At least as a project for Australian tour.
