ur dada has scored against a very poor bowling attack. just wait till australian tour, then i will ask you where does he stand?

in australia, ur dada will not be able to see the ball of brett lee and shaun tait. i think when lee, tait and johson will be bowling to ganguly at perth, ur dada would like to have a run out and then in the press conference he will say i got run out otherwise i vil b scoring a hundred

I can see that you have lost your memory. Dada scored a hundred in the first test of the away series vs Australia when they had threatened him with chin music.
Come on be a sport (I know it is diffult) give the devil its due

Ya he did score a hundred, but can u name the bowlers of that Australian attack and can you give me reference of these bowlers winning matches of series for Australia. Also what kind of pitches were those?

Remember there 2 one dayers in Perth on a bouncy track against Zimbabwe and Australia and check what happened to your dada in those 2 matches.

The fact it those pitches were the flatest in australia ever and plus Australia bowled their weakest bowling attack in those 10 years they ever had. An injured Gillespie called at the last moment since Lee wasnt fit, Bracken, Bichel and Mcgill, now can you tell me if Bracken figures in Australian test side or where is Bichel. Australia didnt have a bench strength of fast bowlers at that time. They realised that without McGrath and Warne their attack is very weak and from there on they started to build their bowling attack and today atleast they have a bunch of fast bowlers ready. Bracken was never a fast bowler he is a fast medium bowlers and so was bichel. Gillespie was actually not even fit to play and yet played and he broke down during that test and didnt play the second and Australia was forced to play a unfit Lee in the 2nd test.

Dont boost of ur DADA cause your dada has a pathetic average of less than 25 against Australia with McGrath and Warne as their front line bowlers.
This is what your great DADA has scored and averaged against the main Australian bowlers, note that McGrath was leading the attack with Warne and either

with Lee, Gillespie or Kasprowicz

12 Matches 20 innings 560 Runs 66 Highest Average of 28 0 hundreds and 3 fifties

Gr8 dada has ZERO hundreds and less than 30 average against the great fast bowlers of his time, McGrath, Walsh, Ambrose, Akram, Waqar, Donald and Pollock.

Second test
Ball no 87.6
Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, no run, The bouncer gets Ganguly in an tangle. It was rearing up at his left shoulder, he tries to withdraw his bat at the last minute but is late. The ball hits the bat and pops up close on the leg side and Shoaib can't reach it. Ganguly was off balance as he played that stroke and staggered back as he made contact
Ball bo 112.2
Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, FOUR, dropped by Yasir Hameed at gully. It was a screaming bouncer from round the stumps and Ganguly fended it in an ungainly fashion and it pops up to the right of Yasir who dives but can't hold on. It was not travelling fast but it was some distance to his right and he couldn't hold on

When Ganguly was dropped the Bong curator prepared a bouncy wicket at Eden to help South Africa win. Bongs are sorry losers. Now that Ganguly is playing they are preparing lifeless wicket so that Ganguly can easily score a century. And then these Bongs call themselves patriotic. They are a sorry lot.

Stop talking abt seaming and bouncy pitches... this guy's got enough potential... remember the 144 against Australia in 2004 in the first test at Brisbane? That innings was the one that really started the ride for India, though Australia finaaly managed to draw level in the series...

Man, that was a landmark innings for Indian cricket history. To challenge the Australians at their zenith, at their own ground with couragious shots and forcing them to bow to it was the essence of that innings. Indian cricket lovers will remember that innings for ever.

Wait untill the Indian team reaches Australia and then make ur own conclusions about each player's capabilities. Pakisthani team is currently useless and their bowling attack is weaker than that of Mumbai's

Dravid, Ganguly, Kumble, Laxman and Tendulkar... are the cricketing legends of our time. You will probably realize this after 5 years.

It is lucky that they are all clicking in the same game. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

I am surprised that most folks on this board miss out on the classic cricket on display, and resort to petty regional crap. After 5 years, you guys will moan and gran about Yuvi / Jaffer etc. and say... oh we wish we had Dravid, Ganguly, Kumble, Laxman and Tendulkar...

Quit xitching and think what any of you xadarchoxs have done that you can be proud of.
