Aussies always talk crap

Steve Waugh dropped Shane Warne in a Test in 1999 in West Indies, since then its rumoured that they had a cold war.
Moreover lot of great ODI players like Inzi,Saurav Ganguly are all totally ignored in his list, which is one of the most stupidest biased u will ever see, considering bowlers like Waqar placed over 40 and average players like Lehmann placed really high..
I dont know why the hype about this and then we complain about the whites being biased and hyped,we ourselves hype them like giving importance to whatever they say or write without ridiculing it..

Sachin ranks 1 in Shane Warne's listing. I would rate this compliment on par with the one that came from the Don.

Sachin is pointing to his age in way of prompt recovery from fatigue of one day match. It could be health issue, age wise he is good for another 3-4 years.

The Aussies know how to ruin Team India, thats what Don did and now Warne is doing,by rating Endulkar as number 1 above so many other legends from other teams they raised his Ego and Gavaskar got a reason to keep him playing till 2015 WCUP,also the other Indian greats like Ganguly were never praised by Aussies, why?Because they are all team men and want Team India to win unlike Endulkar who is keen on his records and chokes while Chasing,so thats why they hype him,its called Sentimental Clap Trap, they made sure Indian Teams spirit is ruined by this type of hype of one individual, that too a very selfish player, who is not even the greatest produced by India, how the hell can he be considered better to Lara who scored lot more in lot less matches and mostly under pressure or Inzamam who singlehandedly won that Semifinal and so many matches or Ponting or Ganguly(who at one stage was such a great player in ODIs)or Wasim or Waqar or Ambrose or Walsh or so many other legends,Warne always got money from Indian bookies and got pasted by Endulkar and hence knows the pysche of Indian public to get their support.

shane and tugga

Coming from shane warne this is a bit surprising. Match saving takes equal or more mental toughness than just winning a few matches for a team. Steve waugh has faced some of the best bowlers this game has produced and the list include curtley ambrose, walsh, alan donald, wasim akram etc. Allof them rate him much higher than shane warne. Paul barry who wrote the book spun out, an un authorised biography of shane warne says in his book that shane warne would be in the midst of more controversies once he retires as he will have a lot of time in hand. While playing cricket he never missed an opportunity to be in the limelight despite the fact that he had very little time for extra carricular activities. Shane warne is quite a charactor. Paul barry says in his book when everyone has skeletons in their closets to cover, shane has a whole graveyard. How true. The man just keeps going on. In any case what is this game without charactors such as shane warne?

Similarly to Shane Warne Ian chappel talks off how great Wally Hammond was.... who the hell is wally hammond. Great cricketers of the past are known because they are covered in the media... And they are covered because they performed. Now we do not have how great W G grace was. Still we respect because he gave a new dimension. But we cannot judge his skills of match winning and saving. As per Steve Waugh, he was a moron who always farted more with his mouth about India than playing cricket. And yes, he was a match saver in Oz only. One more thing is what does Shane Warne know about Vengsarkar? How can he rate him? Abt Kapil? How can he rate him? Finally, its time for Ozies to think how it feels to see one of their own put mud on one of their average hero? This is what happening since 1999 on Sachin. In yesterday match when everyone struggled, he was the only guy who could manager a handful of score apart from Yuvraj whom I think is my best choice for captaincy than the vulnerable Dhoni who still needs work very very very hard.

Shane Warne must be joking
by Sanjay Ranawat on Aug 31, 2007 12:59 PM

I was really amused to see Ravi Shastri in his top 50 list. Steve Waugh at 26th, Kapil Dev at 40th, Waqar Younis at 45, Shoaib Akthar at 29! He's really making making a fool of us.
