In a huge boost to the Indian Cricket League (ICL), the Delhi High Court has said the Indian board cannot take action against players joining the unofficial league. The court was passing an interim order on an application filed by the ICL.
The BCCI, the court said, cannot terminate players' services for aligning with any cricket body. The ICL cannot be restrained from using the national flag, nor can it be denied the use of the board's grounds.
The next hearing of the case will be on September 28.
i don't know why people are so jealous of BCCI. If BCCI is making money. it is their credit. Before 1990s the board was very poor. Since then they have marketed the game well and it is now the richest Cricketing body in the world...so whats worng with it...What is the gauranteee that if Kapil and prassanna comes to the board...they will give a side better than Australia...if anyone sees the past records ..performance of indian team has becoming better over the years...About team selection ...there cannot be any team which can satisfy 100 million people...So BCCI is doing great job... expect a bit more... and back them...Forget the private leagues like ICL who are here only for money.

So why BCCI is not fair to all cricketers??? why now Sharad Power, is only Giving chance for Mumbaikers, It was better when Dhalmia there. Its getting worst now. What is Gavaskers Contribution for Indian Cricket after Retairment???? BIG SELFISH OF INDIAN CRICKET>both onfield and offfield. Power, Vengsarker, Gavasker, Ravi Shastri, And company, This is what BCCI??? The money is comming from Players, Let that money goes to Players, Not for BCCI Officials. Why now they Increased the prize money???Why not before????There wont be any Rebel untill there is a Strong reason for it. Hope for the better from Mr. Kapil Dev and Company. All the Best ICL.

If they start playing here, Some local players will get noticed by beating some of the world gr*, then Buddahs of Indian oops BCCI team will have no excuse to continue to lumber in the team based on past/ sorry stone age performance.
