See guys when we won the test series although zaheer got the man of the series award,it was a combined effort and everyody chipped in. So attributing this loss to one single player would be unfair. No doubt there was some lazy sloppy cricket from ganguly (although hes my fav india one day cricketer ever).Being so experienced such mistakes arent expected from him. Sachin too finds himself newer and easier balls day by day to get out. So much experience yet most of the times fails to win matches in chasing (very very surprising seeing his record ) Gautam Gambhir has to realize he is no Lara else he will also be shown the door like sehwag for being too flashy. Yuvraj is still surprising because after so many years still hasnt corrected flaws in his batting technique and plays too away from the body early on. Dravid was playing at 2 runs per over when the asking rate was 8. Is this justified? what message is a captain giving ?? do u think if Ponting would be in such a position needing 8 per over to win ..would he block ??? and make 2 runs per over when rate needed is 8 ? No matter the score is 30/5 Australians and ponting would have gone for the win and not play chikki runs like dravid....and that wat the essential difference is......Dravid the captain....when a captain is unaggressive...the team also lacks it....and thats where the Australian victories come from. remember the world cup final this year ?? Such a pressure match chasing on a world cup final...just imagine !! and
India A has beaten Sri Lanka -A convincingly.Kaif has also scored well with a six.Get Kaif in.He has the right attitude.Let him lead from the next series.Also this A team series has thrown up new optons.Praveen Kumar as opener and bowler,Yo Mahesh as bowler and bat,Pankaj Sigh as allrounder,Pujara.Irfan is also showing signs.So we need not say we have no choice.Give the oldies a run in this series ;if they do not deliver go for fresh legs.
why are a lot of people hell bent on blaming me only.
okay, as a captain, i share a major responsibility, but then, there are 10 more players, batsmen, bowlers and wicketkeeper and all of them as fielders.

you cant change 10 others wether they are with you or not! play your game give 100% and make INDIA proud rather than going for personal pride and glory!

u r very correct one thing i noticed that comparing to others viz. AZ, england etc. our players are not seems that much committed. What u say ???

in earlier days, when i was a child, it was said that english cricketers are professional. they play cricket all round the year in counties.
our heroes like engineer, solkar, sardesai, wadekar, bedi, prasanna, chandrasekhar etc. had other jobs and played cricket part-time.
now that indian cricketers have become professionals, being professional is criticized.
the failure has to be accepted. our rate of success is not very high percentage-wise, we are losing more matches than we are winning (not taking into account minor countries like canada, bermuda, kenya, bangladesh).
but, dravid bashing or tendulkar bashing or ganguly bashing has become favourite past time.
and coming to application, there are many other fields where we lack when we have to act together.
in western countries, it is said that an individual indian may be great, but, there is not better way to pull him down than do put another indian with him.

They lack professionalism, dedication, commitmment! In INDIA Cricket is played as a pure profession where as in coutries like AUS, NZ, SA cricket is taken as a hobby! Thus in INDIA there is always MONEY-MONEY factor in players mind wether he is playing for INDIA or for STATE in RANJI! Noone cares if his team wins or loses! Only thing they care is MONEY!

why agarkar is needed in the team,he cant bowl properly , as wel as he cant bat,then why the selector and u are having agarkar in the team, this is because of any reference like sachin. play with one general spinner like powar, he is bowling good and as well as he will bat a bit.
give rest to gowtham, take vvs lakshman,who have touch with the english bowlers.
somebody please explain whats going on. yesterday, the bowlers got thrashed allround the park, could manage just two wickets, couldn't even create half chances; and here we are, blaming sachin, saurav and co for throwing away the match. yes, i agree that the batsmen failed miserably but why are we singling them out? and let us also remember that it was the bowlers who made dravid's decision to field first look stupid.
