Winning matters, but the current australian lot under Ponting is truly the world champs with their attitude, body language, approach, efforts and execution.
Just think, if Pontuing would have batted after getting a lead of 300 in Oval; or even if he would have, would he score 12 of 96 balls or his team 180 in 60 overs, to dent their chances of winning the game,
Certainly not.
That makes them the champion team with champion heart. Provided they improve on sledging part, they are most respected and adored outfil in contemporary cricket.

True.. the Indians are normally one trick ponies. Its either Kumble or one of Dravid, Ganguly or Sachin who win them matches. Other than that.. they simply cannot find adequate ways to pull off a win under crunch situations. The Trent Bridge victory was mainly due to England's poor batting in the first innings. Yes Zaheer and company bowled well but the conditions weren't as poor as the scoreline 198 shows.
The Aussies always have a plethora of ways to win over any opposition on any given day and I won't be surprised if they go on to win the Twenty20 WC as well. Besides most sides will be participating with young/inexperienced players. Only the Sri Lankans are going with a strong squad. So expect another final between the Aussies and Sri Lankans.

I predict here that 20-20 world cup will be in the basket of India, because Dhoni and Sehwag not to forgive mood this time.
