Guyz, please stop the nonsense and try to support talent........Parthiv had enough time to improve as a WK but I dont think he has improved much as a WK. But when he is performing as a batsman, try him as a batsman.....just recall when he is 16...he has opened against Australia and pulling Bretleee all over places...this shows his big heart...AGGRESSION is what we need to succeed at this highest level...if he scores consistently why cant we play him just as a batsman.....
Yo Mahesh was more deserving to be seleced ahead of Ishant Sharma. In limited opportunities given to Ishant, he looks far from being a test ot ODI bowler.
Yo Mahesh may not be express fast, but possess varieties, not at all seen with Ishant.
Vengsarkar and team has shown that their insight in bowling department is still immature.
Moreover, allowing in-dsciplined though talented folks like Sreeshanth, they are sending wrong messages accepting un-conditionally volatile but destrucitve attitude.
Throwing youngsters early is a good sign but it should be very critically and judicously selected player and should not be in due to somebody's intuion.
Parthiv is continuously showing evidence that he is improving as a batsman.I think we shd have a pool of openers.Jaffer,Karthik,Pujara,Gambhir?and Parthiv Patel.Whoever does well consistently shd be picked for the 2 opening slots.

MR.Stoolguy or poops guy whatever and other fool guys.......Parthiv is not a good wicket-keeper but he has ability to play as a opener and he did good in Australia...... You guys prove that donkeys are still trying making sense of something, which they themselves dont know what they are talking about..

we lost series against Australia in India becoz of Parthiv only. We can still give him chance to loose some more series

he was never dropped because of batting.. Let him keep wkts better first..He cant catch a straight ball left by batsman of fasters..abt spinners; less said the better.. and anyways he is 3rd best in india..so he can only make money by playing in india A

Abt keeping wkts, he was new and 17 only when he got the chance and developed some flaws. But now has improved and sharpened his keeping as well playing domestic matches and tour matches in various countries' different conditions. just b positive to accept the progress made by him at tender age.

parthiv has performed with bat against bowlers like Andre Nel of SA and in English conditions as well, so for his batting ability he is on par with other keepers if given the chance. Abt keeping wkts, he was new and 17 only when he got the chance and developed some flaws. But now has improved and sharpened his keeping as well playing domestic matches and tour matches in various countries' different conditions.
