If India plays 3 seamers and one spinner(Kumble) then I think Dravid must use himself or Laxman as Off spinners so that there can be variety in the attack. I feel to take England team by surprise we should use this option.Laxman bowled against Srl A team then why can't he bowl in test matches.

Laxman should be asked to do the role of an off spinner.I hope Dravid tried to do so and groove him in the SL game.Kumble has to impart spin,otherwise he seems innocuous.Sreesanth with a dressing down should come good at the Oval.He shd be played.
India was damn lucky to get away with a draw in the first test and the second test was over by the tea break of the first day itself. It was great that the game drifted till the fifth day. India should have wrapped up things latest by the mid forth day. Zaheer did well in the second innings but seems to be carried away little bit. JELLYBEAN OR BUTTTERBEAN please be humble in your victory. don't try to be like IDIOT SRISANTH. Now is the real test. England will fire all their guns. Time for Dravid to maintain his cool. I think India should work on getting wicket of Pietersen and Vaughan as early as possible. The other player is Tremlett. Our batsmen have to do some real homework to play him. If we talk about our team then one "kamjor kadi" is Sreesanth. He needs to control his aggression. If he is continue behaving and performing same then I can see him out of the team so early.

I would recommend one change in the XI for final test. Yuvraj should be included in place of Dhoni. Some other points requiring mention here:
1. I am recommending Sreesanth ahead of Bose, as we should not try a debutant in such crucial match. Also sreesanth is a match winner and we hope he will come back with bang in this test.
2. I am recommending Kumble ahead of Pawar (even though i am a fan of Pawar) coz Kumble is an experienced bowler. Even though he has not had goods test or practice match too, but he has the ability to make come back.
3. Playing Yuvraj in place of Dhoni will require Karthik to keep wickets. This may require him to play in middle order requiring Dravid to open the inning (if India is batting second and/or in the second inning).
4. One more reason of recommending Kumble & Sreesant in XI is that i dont expect Zaheer to have a brilliant match (doesnt mean he'll not bowl well) again. So i dont prefer any other new experiment in bowling department.

Well said Rajiv Kapoor. I completely agree with u. In one of my last posting I had said that Dhoni should be dropped to make way for Yuvraj with Karthik keeping wickets and coming in the middle order. Thus, we have an optional part time bowler in Yuvraj. Dhoni is suspect to swing bowling and his technique is not good under these conditions. Rest of the players pick themselves.

disagree, I would rather that bose n pawar be given a chance than be passengers on the tour. mediocre performances should not be rewarded by allowing them to play the next match. only then will they come back with more determination. this has been d problem with india all along, mediocre performers are not dropped in d hope that they will perform better in coming matches.
India should change Shreesant who I feel a immature bowler .He never bowls wicket to wicket bowling .90% of his bowling goes too far of the stumps .Batsman donot even try to move his body .In England where natural swing bowler always riped the benifit .Take the case of BOB Massy of Australia .despite of presence of LILLYI donot know Why BCCI is selecting such players with jokular look and dresses .Cricket is a decent game ,a gentleman game .U can not win cricket by praying to god in the field all the time ,wearing 100 tolas of gold chain,hair cut like a junglee outlook .It is based on science .Try to learn swing bowling with the wind and against the wind first . Learn to pitch the bowl in such a spot where batsman always remain guessing and like to see that batsman always play the ball .I request all the playing Nation to adapt stickture on dress code of the players .A player should look decent ,fress while playing cricket particularly long verson . A top class player always look decent but not ugly like Malinga,Shreeshant ,

agree to part of ur comments. a dress code may not be in order, but disciplinary control should definitely be looked at. a behaviour like sreesanth's will malign india's name as another sledging cricket team. instead people like these should get psychological help to channelize their negative energy into aggressiveness in their batting/bowling.

tahnks for ur reaction .I was a cricket player once and fairly not top but a decent cricketer who knows the game and watch carefully the game .like me lot players are available in India who can easily coment on cricket and the players.Earlier we used to rely on pysical presence in a cricket game but now a days its not require due to TV .Pl send my coments on shreeshant to everybody through this media
