world cup is going to be played again
by amit on Apr 30, 2007 06:52 PM  | Hide replies

world cup is going to be played again. adam gilchrist caught by ICCC for using squash ball in his gloves. India ..Pakistan all comes back....chappel also to be called back. They all play all matches again.ICC says, use of squash ball not under rules...difficult to find out which games are affected...hence all matches again. Now maybe India has a chance.

Since when did a sport become the measure of patriotism? They are not an Indian team, but merely the team of the BCCI. In either case, this is a discussion about Surrey's record, and not about our cricket team - or worse still, as some people seem to think - our deshbhakti!

If that happens he will not get money from his contract for shoe ad. It will be good for him if he does vice-versa as he did against Bangladesh.

Why drag India??
by Manian Vasudevan on Apr 30, 2007 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

I simply do not understand the reason behind all and sundry gragging the names of India or its Crickets, even when they are discussing about a massive record elsewhere by some other teams, totally irrelevant to India!!!

Sorry Mate....
I was not mentioning English....
I was just mentioning not learn using English the way you used in your previous message.

Infact Me too agree with your statement that there is no pint in writing nonsense, but that cannot be told in such a manner using those words in a public forum.
your above message is lot more dignified

Thats very true about the quality of the messages with respect to relevance or language,

And its also true that the Oneday game has been more biased towards the batsmen, this owes to the crowd gathering & the enjoyment the crowd gets on seeing bowlers getting thrashed on a belter.
infact Gilly has openly made a statement before this worldcup that their next aim is to cross the 500 runs mark.
but in a true bounce track, where only those batsmen who get in can play his shots, it looks more interesting.
I loved the Jayawardane innings in the semifinal than that of Gilly's
