India should be proud coz at least it has got a fast blower in the farm of Goswami who Made india proud.
by praveenprasad on Sep 13, 2007 01:44 AM

Good work Goswami finally we got the chance to watch a fast bowler who is charging in and bowling at a great speed threatning the batsmans,
Finally a long awaiting opportunity for cricket fans to enjoy the fast bowling has come true,
We were bugged off our bats men struggling facing bowlers like akthar, lee, bond & others,
Finally we got a chance to say that even indian bowlers can threaten the batsman by therir pase,
It is shame to men indian cricket
comman guys at least do some thing now.

only few posts
by attacker on Sep 12, 2007 09:48 AM

why here r only few posts even though news is related to cricket...

the reason is media give good coverage to men cricket not women cricket.

and this shows public is not interested in cricket in india, rather they r interested in men cricket bcoz media popularise it...

indian public interest is controlled by media... they dont choose sports but they r bind to choose cricket...

dont b slave of media, and start taking interest in other sports also... enjoy every colour of life... life is versatile, enjoy each n every part of it!

good luck!!

ICC awarded her so rediff wrote an article about her. what was rediff doing before she received an award.

new findings that rediff is owned by sharad powar and tendu, dravid, gangu, sania, leander, mahesh sponsor rediff to write article about them.

we have 1billion population and thousands of good sportmen why cant u write about them.

What a joke!!!
by Rochak Agrawal on Sep 30, 2006 09:08 PM  | Hide replies

Is this a joke of some kind.. 120 km/hour!!!!

You don't call it the world's fastest bowler. There are many other ways to bring about gender equality but don't go around puttting bullshits as your news headline to capture attention.

go narain and lick assssss of sharad powar and you may get a job of sweeper. or working as a cook, garderner for tendu, dravid, gangu.
i m a great fan of cricket including tendu, dra, gangu but i m sure everybody agree with me that we have performed badly in last few years. bcci need to learn lesson from england young team who played 25-30 ODIs can beat indian legends with 300 plus ODI experience, fan of more than 50crores and richest club.
suppose if we played 40mateches last year then we will win around 20matches and if we give opportunities to young guys we may win 15 atleast then we are encouraging young talented cricketer in a cricket mad country.why cant bcci give opportunities to young talented players.

why cant we support other supports like in other countries of the world. not mad after cricket
see srilanka ranking in cricket though they have only population of 2crores which is 2% of india. england around 4crores population with 40lacs fans, zimbabwe south africa mostly played by white who are in minority, new zealand with population less than gujarat.

R S,

If you read the article correctly, you will see nowhere does it says that she is the "woman" fastest bowler ... if one is using the word bowler in the gender neutral sense .. then it includes males as well. And in that category 120 km/hr is a joke.

Hope you can read articles better next time.
