Hair must be punished
by Raja Mohan on Oct 03, 2006 03:41 PM

Hair has been trying to project himself as an umpire of rules. But every time he showed the rude and strict umpiring only to certain nations which he seems to disrespect.
In this case, he imposed penalty runs without getting any evidence of ball tampering. Now with Boycott and co confirming that the ball never looked closed to tampered condition, the story is very much clear. In fact, a person from the dressing room asked the referee to verify the ball and umpires responded in his favor to conclude wrongly that the ball is tampered by Pakistan.
Pakistan might be having aa bad reputation but we Hair was supposed to take the case as fresh without pre-judgement based on previous incidents.
It is a moral victory for Inzy and Pakistan and another incident that shows that racism is still in place.

Pakistani captain spoke via an interpreter
by Nagendra Pratap Singh on Sep 29, 2006 08:00 PM

The day is not far when we will have sportsmen that will win all the world cups and championships and so on. But all of them will need interpreters because all the state governments would have made teaching illegal!!

Because of relatively cheap labour, about 50 % of them would come from mainland China

NOW WHAT ABOUT HAIR
by Anwar on Sep 29, 2006 07:41 PM

As Inzi is cleared from the ball-tampering issue, his accuser Mr Darreyl Hair is still left out with no punishment.
Why is this so?
Shouldnt there be equal law? why biasing?
Hair should nt be just left out, and he shoul get the punishment.

Judge Jury Executioner Hair
by Ravi Prasad on Sep 29, 2006 06:17 PM

Inzy is found guilty yet punished.status 'Victim'

Hair's judgement therefore is flawed, yet no punishment is meted out..has he not brought disrepute to the game with his conduct-status' Villain'

ICC has different rules for umpires and players and is GUILTY of discrimination-
Hair should be banned for life from all cricket related activity as a lesson for all umpires transgressing their powers

Madugalle's judgement is stage amanged by ICC

The game is the loser
