India have won 28 of the one-day internationals in which Sachin Tendulkar has scored a century, and lost 11 of them: there was also one no-result, against England at Chester-le-Street in 2002. Rather worryingly for India, though, they have ended up losing on each of the last four occasions that Tendulkar has reached 100.
Both Sachin and Ganguly are a class apart. Ganguly is only second to Sachin to score 10,000 oneday international runs. And also the most sucessful test captain india has ever produced. I agree that he had some bad scores and who has not, even sachin had bad periods but Sachin always comes back with a bang, which did not happen in ganguly's case. However i think the chances ganguly got in test and then dropped was not justified, he was the 2nd heighest scorer after Yuvraj in that match, still dropped. More has made a joker our of himself and taking his position for a ride and playing with the career of one of the finest player and captain india has ever produced. Shame on more, he should look at his record before passing on any comment on Ganguly.....
But no comparison among Sachin and Ganguly, both are a class among themselves.
saurav ganguly will come back its sure and certain. greg chappel and dravid are ensuring indians will not compete in any of the finals whether its malaysis tri series ,champions trophy and mark my words India would not even qualify for semifinals.
what chappel and dravid are wanting to prove by sending failure dravid instead of sehwag or ganguly as opener with sachin.
After return from his injuriy and operation, saching looks much more stronger. as he has to show that he is still managing all and records. and his record will be broken but not later than 15 years. his batting is god gifted. on the other hand, out bolwers, when they know that there is possibility of rain, that have to stop at least run, but they won't bothered about it. it they have done, we would have won the match.
I think Rahul Dracid is the selfish character. Beacuse he is doing the opening and which is not his post to come for batting. At the time saurav ganguly when saurav ganguly cames for opening public is says he is selfish beacuse Sachin or Viru is better than Saurav. Now i dont think so Rahul is having the capabillity to do the opening shift
