RE:Our Reason for loosing by Anil kumar on Jan 25, 2007 01:40 AM Every captain has a bad day, Azhar-ud-din, Kapil dev or Ganguly, But remember Ganguly played politics in 2001 world cup, demoted dravid to no 6 or 7 place in his captaincy, and also made him wicket keeper, as dravid was the highest run scorer in the entire world cup 1999 series which was held in england, who played no-3 with 450 runs, how can he be demoted to 6 or 7 order wicket keeping in 2003 world cup ! ganguly is selfish he promoted himself to no-3 in 2001 and scored a duck in the finals of 2001 world cup against Australia, were ponting made a century ! after world cup Ganguly rested one year without century ! Ganguly survived due to Jagmohan Dalmiya who is a bengali who supported him with regional partiality ! Rahul dravid came up with ability ! If Sourav had an ability why was he removed from the captaincy and team after Jagmohan dalimya went out of selection committe ? Ok I do agree Kiran more played politics, or took revenge against ex- selectors ! But still dravid who served indian since 9 years, why should he must not be given a chance ? why sourav shines as a captain was due to Excellent performances of Srinath, Dravid and Robin singh ! now India and Dravid are always missing Srinath and Robin singh who are match winning players ! Many experiments of Chappel made the team to loose matches. Kumble was made to sit -why ? he is an excellent match winning bowler, can Harbhajan control any batsmen when 6 balls 6 runs required ? No!
