Mr.Speed's version of having a video footge of a murder is rediculous.Cricket is a programmed event & every movement of it is covered by videography.Hence that should be considered as a prime evidence if any thing like ball tampering has at all taken place. If ICC body wants to establish their stand against the Pakistan skipper they must put forward strong documentary evidence.A worn out ball does not suggest by itself that it has been tampered.
Till date no conclusive evidence has been put forward on this issue.Only debate is going on the basis of guess work.
Hopefully truth will be unvailed in the court. Hope the adjudicating authority will look into the matter keeping in mind the above point.
I could not expect him saying and comparing ball tempering incidence with murder and robery!! He says all jails would have been empty in absance of evidence. Explain him that murder and robery are not suppose to happan in front of 28 cameras and with this many spectators. So how insane he does not want to consider the fact that camera did not catch anything???
Speed is really acting funny with the type of statements he is making regarding the ball tampering issue. Relating this incident to murder and trying to prove the Pak captian guilty is really stupid. If he is not willing to take the word of 22 cameras and wants to further investigate....it really means something is wrong with him. He does not deserve to hold the post he is holding. This is after all a sport and we are making use of technology.
If he is denying the use of cameras as evidence...why the hell do they use cameras for third umpire decisions...it beats their own logic of having cameras to assist the situation.
The truth of the matter here is that the umpires have totally mishandled the situation and the element of racism and discrimation to asians/muslims is playing the devil mind here.
Simply sack Darrel Hair and suspend Billy Doctrove & ...who are the guilty parties. Also, Speed should be taken off this position for the way he has approached to handle this situation.
Inzi is totally innocent in the whole affair and should come out with a clean sheet.
