Sreesanth can be ignored if Kumble and Laxman can be ignored. The selectors are coming up with crazy justifications. When they picked Dinesh Mongia they didnt look at averages or strike rates. But suddenly they realized economy rate as important to make the way for RP Singh who didnt do anything to claim extra after the last selection of teams. When they picked Ganguly for Pak tour they showed experience as the reason but later they realized that they needed to focus on youth immediately after Pak tour. How these paramters change from series to series?
Its not fair that a former captain and batsmen has got no place in the team at least for the forth coming series. The selection committee has forgotten the man whose massive contribution to the Indian cricket .If he is not given a place now, when they are going to give him a chance to prove himself a good batsman. He has been dishonored once again.
Dear Mr. Sharad Pawar / Kiran More / Greg Chappel / Rahul Dravid this is really too much. Whats fuss going on in BCCI selection committee. Is BCCI under Sharad Pawar is trying to become Bihar under Laluprasad - full of malpractices, politics and so on... Please dont neglect our own talent. If you can find a talent for a coching post all the way from Australia, cant you find the better talent from Kolkata yes of course I am talking ab Saurav Ganguly. I on behalf of all Indian Cricket team well wishers & Fans humbly request all you decision makers Please n Please n Please give a chance to Ganguly. He really deserves it. He has stood beside so many current players for various reasons. Unfortunately there is nobody to stand beside him today. Dear Tendulkar, Kaif, Yuvraj, Dravid, Sewang please try to remember those days when ganguly fought for you guys. This is your turn as a human being... Wat more I can say....

Dude, why cry on Ganguly being dropped. i am not disrespecting him,but like Nehru said "the future of the country is in the youth". Everyone has seen the sad part of how ganguly plays his cricket nowadays(fielding,batting etc..). So leave him alone and look for the future. This doesn't means that i agree with the selection policy . Australia never cried when Steve Waugh was dropped and there wasn't such a media flash for him. If Ganguly was a great leader he will know what to do best and the best would be to retire rather than spoiling the name by competing with the younger generation
My initial reaction when I read the caption that Sreesanth has been dropped for the Champions Trophy , and this came with a benefit of doubt to the selectors and my eternal optimism of their abilities, was that may be selectors are adopting a rotation policy and giving him a rest for the Champions Trophy after the gruelling Tri Series in Malaysia ....
But when I read that he has been dropped on account of his performance, I almost bursted into a disgusted laugh ... God !! What on earth were they thinking when they decided to drop one of the most promising, most \\\'attitude-fit\\\' bowler like Sreesanth ... -- Amongst the whole \\\'new breed\\\' of fast bowlers , he is certainly the most energetic, most daring, most hard working and most effective bowler that I have seen .... Take the case of rest of them ... except from Ajit Agarkar , which other bowler on the merit of his recent performance deserves to be there in the Indian team if not Sreesanth .... And all this when he played a key part in India\\\'s last test win in the West Indies THE LAST Official match that India Played !!
Selectors have once again amply exposed their limited faculties when it comes to selection
With out any doubt, India had one of the best captain in Ganguly. During his best playing days, its a treat to watch him play to the best of his allround abilities. He has taken India to many glorious victories against many strong teams. The ICC ratings of India was also the best during his captancy. Why then our selectors are treating him so shabily?. Why can't they discuss and solve the issue more maturly. For us, its really painful to read about Ganguly being treated like a newcomer! He deserves a much better treatment.
Hi, The selectors should have omitted either power or Mongia inplace of Sreesanth,giving choice to select from bowling option,as Pathan off late is not bowling at his best therefore giving room to opponents to expose the entire seam bowling deptt.
this clearly shows that the selectors have simply ingnored the valuable contribution which has been put by ganguly .a player like kiran more who might have even not played more than 100 test matches is the chief selector of indian team .he is simply taking his revenge on ganguly nothing apart from that.a player of ganguly talent has been put aside and they are telling that mongia is performing better than him .what a shame for indian cricket.untill kiran more is thrown out of selcetion panel ,india cannot have a quality team for 2007 worldcup.its a shame to have such a person in panel.
