Let's have the confidence in ourselves. Fortune favours the brave.

Let's remember the past glory what Sachin and team showed...No one could ever able to stay on the path of the Indian tremor...

chance for Sourav Ganguly
by balaji on Oct 29, 2006 12:54 PM

Hi,

Inspite of our batsmens failure in the past fifteen matches, what is the selection committee doing. Whats the coach doing, without giving any inputs or pullup the socks and perform or leave space to others who can perform well. A senior player like Ganguly should be given a chance to proove his batting despite Shewag not performing. A last chance has to be given to Sourav Ganguly & he will defenitely prove his capabality.

we must overcome

a committed team performance is required here and Team India should actually play as a 'team'instead of basking on their not so recent glories on and off the pitch.

India vs Australia-ICC Championship Oct 2006

Dravid's words are great. But what we require is killer instict and desire to win. Both are lacking in Indian team. These qualities can not built overnight. It is high time BCC spends some time on these issues. Now a days BCC spend its energy on how to make money and more money

Team selection
by Nish on Oct 29, 2006 09:25 AM

I fail to understand why is Agarkar still in the team after performing CONSISTANTLY BAD in the last couple of seasons. Shreesant has performed so well in the last 1 year and he is not included in the team, thereby reducinghis confidence and the selectors are sending a message that 'No matter how good you perform we will always take bowlers who cant perform!' Also Chappel's liking for Agarkar has made sure that he will continue to be in the team, no matter what.

Readers do reply.

play cricket
by raj narayan on Oct 29, 2006 08:24 AM

Sorry to say but after watching the latest pepsi ad uh aa India aa ya India I personally felt the cricket players hv concentrated more on the ad. than on the game.
Could suggest a few changes- change the batting order and if required bring some new players-Gautam Gambhir,Mohd.Kaif,Uttappa etc are being wasted.Big names like Shewag,Yuvraj are not performing to their best as batsmen though they r good on the field and useful as bowlers.Irfan should NOT be sent at no.3.
and will be better at no.6 or 7 depending on the situation. He is unnecessarily being pressurised to perform as a batsman which is definately effecting his confidence and also his bowling.
Though i am a lay man i am just viewing my opinion.
MY WISHES ARE ALWAYS WITH OUR TEAM.
ALL THE BEST

thanks n egards

raj.
