Where is the pool of youngsters?
by Paritosh on Dec 01, 2006 09:26 PM

Chappell had been working from quite a long time to build a pool of youngster. He is in favor of sacking teams key but old players for inclusion of youngsters. But what happen Mr Greg! We could not able to see your pool today.

Back to ''experience'' for respite! How?
by Parida on Dec 01, 2006 07:11 PM

1.I dont know how Laxman's and Ganguly's experience is going to help team india. In the present days of fast and swing bowling, I would say, noboday (to some extent Rahul) is experienced in this type of bowlings. So, their inclusion maynt make a big difference to performance of our team. The problem is very basic; we never provided our cricketer the opportunity to play in bouncy pitch and gain some experience.

2. One good development, Laxman selected as the vice-capt. A strong message for Mr. Veeru- get up or get lost. This is what was missing at this point. U had some records in past doesnt mean that u'll get a permanent position in the team. Veeru is a "his day" player and "his day" never comes often. At this juncture, if a player is not motivated by themselves, then nobody can do it.

3. What makes our players so numb. Why nobody is trying to look, whats his weakness, and how to correct it. Why an indian bowler doesnt look at the weakness of a foreign batsman. Does our bowlers know, how many different ways they can bowl. ....

A great come back by the two stylish players Ganguly & Laxman. The team is sure to get back their lost confidence and excel in the future games. Wish the team all success.

Dropping Ajit Agarkar - Happy
by MONOJ MAJUMDER on Dec 01, 2006 06:12 PM  | Hide replies

very happy seeing Agarkar not in team. Surprised his inclusion in one day team ,he cannot be considered at all as all rounder and his poos bowling record is in front of people, he has got ample chance which shows poor show by our selecters no body else has got so much of chance in one day bowling , he should be thrown off now otherwise will not get chance.

Yes very true! Agarkar does nor deserve a place in either One-day or test squad. In fact it would be funny if he become a part of 20-20 squad. We might see 20% hike in boundries after his inclusion.
