Batting Order
by Atul Pandit on Nov 26, 2006 11:47 PM  | Hide replies

watching our team India perform so badly in recent time i wish our thinktank should consider following order [may give it a try].

whatever is the situation we should not open with sehwag & tendulkar. as far as i think the batting order should be

1. sehwag

2. ganguly / dinesh mongia

3. kaif

4. tendulkar

5. dravid

6. yuvraj

7. dhoni

8. pathan

9. 10. 11 the bowlers.

dhoni can be promoted if big hitting is required. if tendulkar and dravid come down the order the can make the middle order stronger and the opposition will be kept on their toes as they are still to bat. hope greg read this and thinks about it

theese experts should be exposed to fiery balls of natini, bond & shoib and without any protection, let the people who know the job do the things. theese stupids are causing more mental problems to the team then pullock and natini

Defeat
by Rajendra Bongale on Nov 26, 2006 11:13 PM

Todays is the 2nd biggest defeat.Who is responsible? BCCI says Chappel is not.Captian not.Individual playrs not.then who? This is the shameless Indian team.Shameless Coach.Shameless Captain and shameless Sr.Players.Inspite repeated poor performances they still stick to theri place in the team just because of past records.BCCI is asking Ganguly to play in the domastic cricket to prove his form. Will the BCCI dare to ask the same to Sachin? Sachin, inspite of repeated poor score, is in the team. Why he should not be called back and ask him to play in the Ranji cricket? What Shehawag is doing in the team? repeated failuers.but he is still there. Can Raina,Mongia are better replacement for Ganguly,Laxman? Chappel should be kicked off immediately.Appoint a better Indian coach.Chappel is a whore. He is here just for money. He is not worried about Indian cricket. Is he really worth 1.20 crores yearly looking at his poor performance and third class behaviour in the public.

I disagree with you on Dravid coming in at 3 down. The point is that Dravid does not , I mean does not fit into the ODI team. Also why VVS Laxman, why not Ganguly guru ??
All I can say you are people are stupid regionally and race biased sobs..

So much for these self-congratulatory empty boasting louts - when they come up against 'real' competition they just fizzle - might as pack up and head home now and save themselves the embarassment of being beaten in every single match - even a village team of 8-year olds would whup these losers.

indian cricket team is bringing shame to our country
by shashank on Nov 26, 2006 10:37 PM  | Hide replies

the indian cricket team members should be debarred from participating in cricket matches if they are found in a single advertisement in future. they are not concentrating on their game.

the entire squad should be changed. INDIA-B team should be given a chance. only youngsters can change the present scenario of countinuous losses.

GIVE YOUNGSTERS MORE NO. OF CHANCES and REMOVE DRAVID FROM TEAM.

South Africa Whip India Again
by Dr.Srijit Das on Nov 26, 2006 10:33 PM

What a shame! The game was lost even after having an upper hand, with the South African score at 75 for 6.The team management favours Virender Sehwag as an explosive opener, who has survived till now inspite of repeated failures. If Ganguly was dropped due to bad form why not Sehwag and Sachin? Who is this Mohd Kaif,we do not know expecially after the Natwest Trophy in England,2 yrs back. Our team does not have a zeal to win. They lost to West Indies,Australia,Sri Lanka miserably during the past one year and still then the team nanagement says that the boys are learning. Please let the Delhi Ranji team play for India,I bet they will perform better.
The BCCI is a silent spectator to these miserable defeats.A good team under Ganguly couat least won matches.See what the management has done to the team.Greg Chappel thinks himself to be very big and wanted to show the world that Kaif,Raina,Dhoni,Sehwag,Yuvraj can help India win all matches and every Indian must realise such but only in dreams. To change a performing team under Ganguly was the biggest crime committed. We as indians owe an explanation.Who is responsible? Defeats after defeats and how many more to come?

About the Indian team's dismal run in SA
by Kanth N.D.R. on Nov 26, 2006 10:17 PM

Indian batsmen have forgotten their strokes nowadays and this has led to their poor batting display in SA.Can we imagine that this was the team, once holding the batch "THE MOST VENOMOUS,DREADFUL BATTING LINEUP" in the world. But what has happened now?

They are allowing the politicians to discuss even these issues in the parliament. If their form continues in this manner, our politicians would not mind even to ask South Africa, how can they win like this against India.

Hope our indian players will not allow them upto such extent and regain their batting form atleast before they leave SA.

All our prayers for that.

India - SA ODI
by T.P. Viswanathan on Nov 26, 2006 10:15 PM

It is a foregone conclusion,as Indian team has for strange reasons become disspirited. Losing and winning are one thing, but meekly surrendering is something that one cannot accept. To an extent the captain too is responsible and any one in his side would have owned up and resigned from the position.

Tendulkar should honourably give way to some youngsters. He has lost all his moorings. Irfan has to be sent back to his State team for some time, like Zaher Khan to whom the break has helped. Perhaps Irfan too may get some English County entry.

The commentatotrs kill the audience with nearly two hours of meaningless chat show. That actually kills the viewer interest.
