Mr. Dravid in his interviews after every match describes about the good performances of the past and escapes to admit the reality of the current form and poor administration of the Indian team. In view of the approaching world cup Mr. Cool should take some tough independent discisions (Although they may differ with the views of Mr. Greg Chappel) to improve the overall teams performance. In my view Mr. Cool is overshadowed completely by the coach which in Indian cricket context is dangerous. We should try to undrestand the potential of our players. It is in Mr. Chappel's time only some of the key Indian Players like Pathan, Raina & Shehwag has become non-performers. Is it a deliberate attempt? Question is yet to be answered.
I think it's high time now, and we need to realize that this team does not have heart at all play the one day cricket.This shows that how well Sourav lead the team in world cup and gave the inspiration. Sorry, but to specify that inclusion of Suresh Raina, is not enough with little contribute anywhere. I think it would have been better to play some experienced players fro the Ranji and ofcourse our Laxman who has done so well in the past.If Laxman fails 5 in 10 times, Suresh is failing 9 in 10 times. Time has come that pick those players who are making run at this time in domestic circuit. Wasim Jaffer should not be dropped with one chance as he deserves more time and chances. Similarly picking players like those who are heavily scoring. We dont required too much expectation for the World Cup with current form. Instead we look for series by series building.Those who are in form should be picked at that time and not at say 6 Months back. It's of no use. We(Indian teams each player) should play more domestic game rather than picking for international cricker specially where the pitch is so bouncy and fast. Let we create such pitches and raise our level upto that so that we can pick
