Lara is better but Sachin is the BEST. No one can reach his success. He is the best player ever in the history of game. Not even Don Bradman can reach upto him, as he played 25% of Sachin's total experience. The days he played his knocks were not that much impartant as Sachin has played these days. If u see the compitition and overall things in deep everybody will say Sachin is the BEST.

This praise for Lara by Dravid has bring back in my memory the story of Angoor katha hai. As Dravid is failing in all the Department of cricket so nothing is left with him except to praise others. m arthurs comment on sachin retaining the top spot in the number of centuries scored seems more emotion than reason. sachin defenitely great of late does not inspire much confidence of performance in his fans as he has somehow got bogged down either due to age or lethargic reactions courtsey age. However if he still remains the numero uno in this section then good luck to him. i however see him being overtaken both by Lara as well as Ponting in a matter of months.
I have always admired the quality and quantity of Lara's knocks. He once again showed that he can tare any attack in the world even at 38. The comparison to SRT must be stopped; because over the last 5 years he has shown that he is leaps and bounds ahead of SRT. Hope to see many more of his knocks, hopefully not against India.
