In India itself, white skin is valued from a very young age and people who are relatively darker are looked down upon. Why scream at someone who speaks the truth? Not only are you racist but you also cannot accept the truth.

"IF YOU WANT TO BE AN INDIAN, COME AND LIVE IN INDIA". Ha ha ha ... then Panesar is not an Indian is he? He's living in England right? So why bother, as it's racism directed by Aussies against English?!!!

Shut up Prashant.. Its people like you, staying abroad, who are forgetting their culture.. IF YOU WANT TO BE AN INDIAN, COME AND LIVE IN INDIA.. Indians staying their have taken up the habits of the US people.. So, do not say what you do not know and I think you should keep your BIG MOUTH SHUT.. FOREVER!!!
Hi, This is Prashant. I am currently based in NY for past 9 months. From my observation, I find Indians are the worst racists. Wherever I see, an Indian always respects a white person but always abuses/ foul-mouths Afro-Americans. I dont know why Indians practice these double standards, coz all the white people see them as black (rather brown). So the moral of story is that Indians are as racist as any people in the world, Be it the Aussies in NSW or the Spanish at Nou Camp.

Hi Raj, Prashant is not wrong to some extent. Forget NY. Go to any tourist place in India. See the diffeence between behavior with whites and others. Forget even the foreigners. Tell me how the people in India treat the people belonging to UP and Bihar. How they call them Bhaiyya and Bihari and use these words as metaphor for rustic. I would refrain from being so harsh as Prashant and not be judgemental in who is more racist, but please remember to correct the fellows by your side in India, when next time you see a racist behavior towards a Bihari or UPite or any other community. Best Regards, Manish
Australia, until very recently, had been not only de facto but de jure, more racist than even South Africa, so the this slinging of racial slurs by Aussies should come as no surprise. It might also have something to do with their resentment of Hair's treatment, whose removal from umpiring int'l games is blamed on South Asians. Go figure.
Why can't the rest of the world teams ban Australia until they set themselves right. Yesterday it was Pawar's issue, today Panesar' and tomorrow it is somethingelse. Disgusted with these champions.
This is not good sign for cricket. One week before Autralian cricketers behaviour came under fire and their fans. Does not matter how many series you won for your country, it is matter that how you are representing your country.
what on earth is this kind of behaviour ? i dont think those aussies are living in 21 century, sad spirits and totally unacceptable behaviour by crowd. grow up mate.
This is predictably what happens when minorities are hell bent on wearing their religions on sleeves! Religion strictly should be a private affair, and all symbols depicting one's religion should be kept in hiding when facing public...including the infamous veil too! Sounds harsh, but that is the reality guys.

Dominic,
In that case, why not change your name into something neutral? Like say, alpha, beta, gamma, theta etc? Your name suggests that you are a christian....

WOW, that makes a lot of sense. You dont have a word to say for the insipid behaviour of the racist aussies (which is so very typical of them), instead ur critisizing Panesar for wearing a turban. Dont care what religion you belong to, but im sure u will be pissed off if your told to stop practising your religion
Panesar or any Indo- African person should not play in front of so called sophisticated people. The reason of their frustration is our players are plying better than them though it is their traditional game.
