Uncivilised behaviour
by Girraj on Nov 11, 2006 02:16 PM

Nobody will argue that it was not good on part of Australia or Ponting, However these leaders need to learn some lessons that BCCI is also involved in uncivilised behaviour when a person going with his children carrying a valid ticket is not allowed to enter in the stadium or facing lathicharge as it is already full because BCCI has sold tickets in excess of the capacity or their so many relatives and freinds are already in the stadium without any ticket. No Sharad Pawar comes for opology.

Shameless and uncivilised
by ashton on Nov 11, 2006 01:04 AM

Shame onAustralian players and the Australian board
So wat if they are the winners, u need to respect others.
If this would be the case with any white country there would have been a case by ICC and a huge FINE and Ponting and Martyn would have sacked for few games. It always happens with the subcontinent countries: They are treated differently then the other cricket playing nations. We all know about the on groung behaviour of the australian players we need someone who can answer to their bullying like Ganguly.
Ponting, Martyn and CA should give a written apology to Mr.Pawar and BCCI.

Is Pawar insult bigger than Vidarbha Suicide?
by Prem on Nov 10, 2006 10:42 PM

It is totally disgusting to even discuss Pawar shoved off the dias when the supposedly Union Agriculture minister, with the BIGGEST responsibility in the country to revive our last tradition - Agriculture and farming -- is grinning in the dias instead of working hard to prevent famer's suicide in Vidarbha!

Sick of these dirty politicians and their greed for power and recoginition. Shame on you, Pawar!

I feel no regret for this incident. Would have been happied if Ponting and his men kicked him out!

It is a shame that it was totally due to media this has become a big issue. If the photos has not been published this would have gone zero.

Its just like Education without Character..
by rohan on Nov 10, 2006 06:51 PM

I reckon the Aussies r the best, ofcourse all reckon! Or may b one or two might hav other opinions but whatever one says..they r the best. They play out of their skins to win each n every encounter..but their on-field behaviour[now off-field as well] is just uncalled for,to say the least. They might b the best but retaining one's character is what matters..its like education without character..SHAME on their part..whats the use if they win this championship and behave like hooligans..who'll respect them? they must learn to respect the administrators who r much above the players..the Aussies must b REWARDED SUITABLY with a punishment by the ICC for their bahaviour, whether they intended to do what they did or not..they must not b left scot-free.

Uncivilised Aussies ...............
by Rohit on Nov 10, 2006 06:49 PM  | Hide replies

For this uncivilised behaviour, the best answer will be to boycott playing Australia, like India did with Pakistan..........

If India will not play Australia, their cricket board will be compelled to take some action against it's players.....

If Sachin/Shewag/Dravid are having Some GUTS
by Ajaya on Nov 10, 2006 01:46 AM

It is a Shamefull incident for Indian Cricket History. If Sachin/Shewag/Dravid/Pathan have some Guts, then Defeat them in their country, and repeat same to their President. Mr.Sharad Power is not ORDINARY PERSON, and these Austrailian Cricketers will have to take several births to become a Sharad Power.

Pointing Pa-War
by Amol on Nov 10, 2006 12:33 AM

I really felt this thing was blown too much by media, but now I feel b'caz of media cricket Australia and Pointing called Mr.Pawar for apology. Cricket is gentleman's game, so one should play same way on and off the field.
