Hair Banned - Good News
by Shyam on Nov 06, 2006 10:34 AM

Its quite funny that all the white nations who were colonisers are now feeling bad that the 4Asian countries are now colonising them almost. I for one am real happy that the fat white supremacist has been banned. His attitude towards Aisan players has always been of Plantation Supervisor to his slaves and its ironical that the Australian media should cry about this when they have been equally harsh on the Azhar issue and lenient to fixers and druggies like Warne and Waugh. Its stinks to them when they see the Asians are bucking the white yoke. Good on the Asians, slam them!

Colonial hangover seems hard to go.
by Rao on Nov 06, 2006 02:16 AM

The report clearly shows how much they hate to see Asian Power rising. This kind of colonial hangover is understandable, but it is the only way out especially in these times of globalization.

Wake up Aussies!
by cdma2010 on Nov 05, 2006 11:06 PM

1). Hair may be a good umpire but he got a big desicion terribly wrong (the 5-run penalty).

2). He always had a attitude problem. There is no reason why asian teams (or any team for that matter) should take shit from someone who tries to act in a heavy-handed manner.

3). Money has been ruling all along. The US always manage to get their way. The British had their way for several hundred years. Now, its funny to see these westerners expecting the rich BCCI to be a saint..(although they must act on Speed's advice; the quality of indian batsmen is fast deteriorating; apart from tendulkar and dravid, nobody in a county of a billion can be expected to show good technique and attitude on a difficult wicket).

hair is the best
by himanshu kesal on Nov 05, 2006 10:52 PM

just realise how many cricketers's careers have been
destroyed by muralitharan's n shoib's chucking!
daryll hair is one of the best umpires in the world.
he has the courage to call a spade a spade.
muthaih murlitharan should never be playing cricket.
if he has an incurable condition of his wrist bones then why is he playing cricket and why is he allowed to play cricket.
its ridiculous!!!!
he chucks and he is a chucker.
he should never have been allowed to bowl in the first place.
all his records should be obliterated from the record books.
Hair has the courage to speak the truth and call muralitharan a chucker.
next shoaib akhtar is another chucker who should have never been allowed to bowl.
he doesnt bowl he throws.
they should be kicked out of the cricket game.
again Hair was right to forfeit the game to england against pakistan according to the rules.
pakistan is raising a hue and cry over this decision when it has a history of its umpires winning matches for pakistan by giving decisions in favour of pakistan.
pakistan are cheaters.
india is a meek and coward country.it should not have sided with pakistan and srilanka to vote against "the great " DARYLL HAIR.
THIS MEANS THERES

How sad for the Aussies ?
by Mudassir Ehsan on Nov 05, 2006 08:56 PM

Hi All,

The Aussies are really sad as they won't get Darrel Hair's help to win matches at home. Darrel Hair was an instrumental player in the Aussie success which began from the dubious decisions he gave in the 1999 Indian and Pak tours of Australia. Who can forget the remarkable Head-before-wicket he gave against Sachin ? He is the biggest asset to Aus Cricket but he is the biggest liability to world cricket.

It was because of his SHIT umpiring that the entire Oval Test fiasco was created. All the Aussies supporting Hair kindly take note of this event first, If Pak were cleared of ball tampering then who was problem maker in the whole episode ???

I think the Asian countries along with WI, SA have done a great job to remove this menace from the game.

Well done !!!

Cheers,
Mudassir Ehsan

Australians rally behing Hair
by labrea on Nov 05, 2006 08:36 PM

An umpire's actions must not only be fair and impartial, but must appear to be fair and impartial at all times. While Hair may be exemplary at the former, he seems to fall short on the latter, and has paid for it. The term 'cricket' refersnot merely to a sport, but rather, is a euphism for fairness and gentlemanly conduct - "well played".

sacking of Darell Hair is correct
by Ramje K on Nov 05, 2006 08:20 PM

The ICC took a brave and correct decision to sack Hair. A lot was made out of Asian nations influencing the icc ,, but where were these nations when the icc and its refrees acted leniently towards a show of dissent by non asian players. We here in this part of the world dont here anything from anyone about those. Only when the Aussies are at the receiving end of it you guys complain . About Sacking of Hair there is no doubt he is a biased and rigid umpire be it the muralitharan episode or the recent oval fiasco.
