I don't understand our Indian cricket team. The game is so huge in this country unlike any other nation but we just cannot win big matches(small ones including.Seriously speaking they Indian team players have to work much harder on their fitness, dedication and the killer instinct.Getting foreign coaches and training abroad is not the solution. We need to believe in ourselves and believe in the past players who are much better than anyone from other countries. They understand India and Indians much better and they can do a better job then some stern red faced Aussie. Its so dissapointing. I am beginning to hate cricket as a game and prefer watching other sports,at least I don't have to watch our cricketers loosing all the time. Its sheer AGONY.

You don't need a panel of hi-fi cricketers and coaches to see this. Just look at the number of 1s, 2s or 3s against the number of boundries scored. Compare that with what AUSSIES do. Its not because of Sydney or Perth. Its the way their batsmen and bowlers approach the game. They take care of things that are "minor" to other teams.

indian batsmen seem to have forgotten that 1s and 2s and 3s add to the scoreboard. Everybody wants to crash the ball into the fence. In the process they frustrate themselves and throw away the wicket. The art of building an innings is left only in Dravid. Tendulkar is also off late transitioning from Batsman to boundary-man.

Indian debacle

There are many opinions and counter opinions about indian team not making to semifinals in icc champions trophy. Various theories have been put forward by experts but none, surprisingly, has stated the importance of occupying crease for 50 little overs.Batsmen have been advised to hammer the ball around but not advised to stay at the wickets and bowlers are not advisied to bow good lenght without much experimentation. How we missed simple basics and lost the series and pride.
