Ambrose is my all time favourite bowler but it's difficult 2 believe that cricket is not his 1st passion....a statement 4m this demon bowler hurts to his every fans....but he... was....is......and definately will be an all time gr8 west indian bowler.
Its great to know that ambrose is enjoying his life even if its not about cricket. a great bowler who used to bowl yorkers from about 7 feet height... phew who can forget that spell of 7 for (almost) nothing in that Perth Test in 92-93 series. Cricket was blessed with ambrose's talent and his willingness to showcase it
Ambrose was certainly a great bowler to have in the team. Between him and Walsh, any time any day any pitch they could be trusted to clean up any team. Indeed the advise he recieved from another Great The Late Malcom Marshall should be something our bowlers should learn and imbibe into their system. Watch you figures carefully, everything else will fall in place. It is true once you work on drying up the runs completely, batsman are prone to err.
Agreed Amby was a natural but that does not mean some of the traits he followed while he was still playing should be ignored. It still rings true for our team.
Will our players listen and learn and turn the corner?
