i just fail to understand that when kaif is not in form the news is on like anything and now when he is playing with 66 and 63 score its not been seen also i m really upset.
Hi , I just saw Kaif bat today and get out cheaply. yes he 'looks' to be in form n all that. but what he doesnt have is enough patience and lacks confidence in himself. just picture this, he plays a good shot the first ball , and tries to pierce the field for the next four balls.. and gives up...hits a bad shot and gets himself out.. This when he talks of spending timein the middle !! India were in no hurry for runs, an ideal situation for him to anchor his innings..but doesnt! Its good to be trying and trying and trying...but with world cup around the corner, we need players who perform, not the ones who are trying.

Yes, people know, after Dravid, if somebody can stay at the wicket for longer time, it is Kaif. But what disturbed everybody in the Ist ODI against WEst Indies was Kaif's inability to rotate the strike. You need not go for big stroke, but atleast in a situation like this, one expects a batsman of Kaif's calibre to rotate the strike. It was really shoking, out of the six balls he faced of the 42nd over, 3 of them he played to the same filder, he was justunable to find gap for even a single so as to give strike to the other batsman. This resulted in pressure building up un-necessarily and Dhoni was a victim of that pressure. MY only advise to Kaif is that he should not think about himself only, but the other batsman also who is his partner. Just imagine, instead of hitting four, if Kaif had got out on the penultimate ball, what kind of pressure the new batsman will have facing the last ball!!
