Fredie Trueman has faced many deadly encounters on the cricket fields and is now facing another one but
within himself.Hopefuly this legend cricketer will demolish the cancer desease to the delight of millions of his fans spread all over the world.
Who can forget his magic test wicket(300th)-Neil Hawke -the Australian fast bowler-caught in slips by another legendry Colin Cowdery. On bing asked about the breaking of his this record-Trueman remarked"the fellow must be bloody tired".Well rest is history as now there is competition for the double the number of test wickets which Fred Trueman took 42 years back.
F.S.Trueman(Frederick Sewards Trueman) made a sensational dream debut against India on 15Jun1952 at his famous Yorkshire cricket test ground-the Headingly,Leeds by taking 8wickets for 31 runs and when India was reeling at 4 wickets down for no score, his figures were 3wickets for none( only to be repaid by our Irfan Pathan recently in the first over itself by claiming the hat-trick against Trueman's test team-ENGLAND.
His last test match was against New Zealand in the year 1965.On both occassions Trueman's side emerged winners by 7 wickets. He did not went wicketless in tests
