I am wondering when media is going to realize the role of it in creating a positive environment. Thousands are articles / bulletins keep coming about Sachin Tendulkar who himself would be thinking when to retire(just extrapolated; take it in right sense), while people like Lakshmipathi Balaji are in the also list(is it thankfully). Its really frustrating to see such kind of comments "Fast bowler Laxmipathy Balaji, recovering from a back injury, also took part in the training session. He bowled a few deliveries in the nets, while also doing some exercise and running."
Why cant it be also Sachin tendulkar and the main bulletin about Lakshmipathi Balaji. Please dont get the crux as "Why dont media hype about Balaji" for heaven sake.

That is Sachin. It's true in India media is focusing too much on the small thigs about the greats.
Buts the question asked by "iseekall" that why don't sachin's name is secondary and the balaji's or any others name is in the headline and the peadeep is saying that there are many sports men and women are there in india why don't media focus them.
the answer is simple Sachin is great.. and the other thing is that there are many sports men and women but no one is great like sachin.
You tell me the any other sports men playing from last 16 years with consistency & dediction and still down to earth..... and not in any controversy

I do not understand why the media and the newspapers are giving so much importance to Sachin. There are so many sports men and women who have brought glory to the country in other spots other than cricket and they are totally forgotten. This is so unfair. If he sits - it is a news, if he goes to the temple - it is news - only in India you get this sort of media attention. THIS MUST STOP.It is irritating to read such kind of articles.
