I am not sure about India winning this test. India will try to keep their wickets and play for a draw and thus if they lose a couple of wickets, specially Dravid's early, they may lose this test quite comfortably.
I have been reading about different invisible and apperently inexplicable strategies about this test - selecting to bowl first to create and learn to handle pressure. Probably missing catches/stumping in plenty also a part of this strategies? Then may be the injury of Sachin and Shewag also a part of it. May be losing this test will also be considered as a planned thing - as this team build-up is for 2007 WC not test cricket - could be the explanation.
"Watching England bat was like watching paint dry. " - Read one of the emails sent to David Lloyd and Ashley Giles. Now the columnist using the same phrase to jump-start his article wasnt particularly creative. Disappointed to say the least.
I am a huge fan of yours, representing NYC. I loved the call that you made today about India winning. It speaks volumes when you (journalist) are publicly willing to stick your neck out and rish being wrong.
I am with you on this call. All the commentators, including former Indian players, have picked England to win.
Even if we lose, I sincerely hope we go down fighting for a win and not a draw.
well i didnt see the match but i really liked the way u wrote this article..whether the description is about harbhajan singh or about Flintoff..it was awesome !! My best wishes are with India .. hope it wins :)
