true.. dravid is a great test batsman and has won/saved quite a few matches for india... well.. nobody can argue with teh fact that teh man has tremendous self belief... but the prob is he doesnt hv half as much confi in his subordinates... his team mates... the decision to open in pak, which ultimately back fired in the 3rd and decisive test, his decision to bowl 1st in the 3 rd macth at mumbai (he doubted the ability of his batsmen 2 face flintoff & co on a bouny wankhade picth), which resukted in a shameful loss 2 an eng b team, dropping kaif and laxman... they are all blunders in judgement and he will never b a great captain like saurav da...
We are a nation of 1 billion people. Millions of youngsters dream of a future in the 14 member team. All that should count is current performance. Having one non-deserving guy on the team is like killing the dream of other talented ones. By that logic, job well done in Ganguly's case. The next ones to be shown the doors are Sewag and Sachin.
