There are some hard lessons for the team. How long can the team afford to have non-performing celebrity players, more so because a good number of young players are waiting on the wings! The seniors who are out of form should themselves give way to the promising cricketers. If they do not, they should be made to follow Gangully. With a few exceptions, majority of the team members lack the passion to win. Laxman should watch his own performance in Calcutta and Madras vs Australia in 2000 and see how pathetic his style and form are now!
