It is right and proper,indeed that all time great cricketers like Vengy , Krish , Siddhu, Tendulekar and Saurabh would give their views how Team selections of BCCI get over regional kinks and merit is adequately recognised...Ganguly has been wronged by jokers...(Jimmy's apt characterisation of Selectors of his days), well he deserves more honourable handling,and it is late but some semblance of justice in this cricket mad country,to one of the most successful captain since our Kapildev.D.Goel

In Ganguly's world only one exists and that is Ganguly. Just like him Kapil Dev also did so much for country & saw the writing on wall and moved on. Tendulkar understood that he as a person cannot work as captain and a responsible plater.He let go captainsy & continued to be a player. One cannot bask under what one has done and go on hanging as a dead weight. See, even President Abdul Kalam is still an extremely good scientist but he opted out without clinging to the dept. Yes Ganguly has done very good for Cricket, but can he bask under that glory for another 20 years as a dead weight. He should understand the saying "old order changeth tielding place to new".As per Ganguly's theory why should the CJ of SC, or CEOs of companys like Infosys,Wipro,Hind Lever leave when they have so many years of capability left in them. Ganguly should hav stepped down as captain as his captainsy & batting all was detting affected.He should have stepped down as captain and should NOT HAVE OPENED HIS WIDE MOUTH TO THE TRAP QUESTION PUT BY HARSH BOGLE.That was the nail on his coffin. If I rememver correct the Kolkotans who burns the effigy now had thrown stones at his house some time back?

Have these guys gone mad? This guy would have totally undone all the good work by John Wright when he was in the team, now are they allowing him to do it at a more systemic level?
