Anand is absolutely right!!! The quirk of the handmade ball is half the romance of it! There is no need to change to the so called intenational standard - especially when host nations are allowed to use their own types of red balls. Add to it, the kookaburra costs 5 times as much as the SG - Really now!!!! What next? - Manufactured soft concrete pitches and covered climate controlled domes??? Come on this is test cricket and the biggest test here is adaptability. Different styles of cricket equipment will only enrich the game - wake up to it!!!
Offie can not bowl well with these balls.. Once India starts using them, Harbhajan Singh will be unhappy person.. However, I do not think he will play many games any more because his performance has been bad since last 2-3 years and there are other spinners waiting in the line. I would even say that this series could be his last chance.
