What exactly is the issue? Is bindra trying to become popular by raising a stupid cry? What have their refusal to hold a press conference got to do with ruling us? It isn't snobbery, either. Indians should understand that while rules can be rules, protocols are not rules.
I have heard that the Englishman trains his son manners from the childhood. Listen to this: On the dining table when having brekfast the youngster will have to ask his Dad "Please pass the Butter, Sir". Present day players know not even the spelling for mannerism! What can one expect under Flintoff's leadership. Only Lousy Behaviour I suppose.
As Bindra has rightly pointed out We can only take the Horse to the Water but can't make it Drink! Worse still who can stop the Horse behaving like an Ass?
The comments made by I S Bindra are very powerful and makes the point that british still thinks they rule us. In the BBC news when the first test match report was shown the first thing they started of was with a cow standing on a road in nagpur. i was unable to understand the requirement to show such a scene. i am sure there are a lot of beautiful places in nagpur that could be shown. I think the English players must behave as mere players not ambassadors of the queen. It must be made clear to them that their status is just cricket players and nothing other than that.
