This has been habit of BCCI selection comety. They time and again prove their incompetency and act like jokers (as said by Mohinder Amernath)by selecting player(s) saying he/they is/are in very good form but not giving him/them any chance to play. Not only this, they drop him/them and replace other player(s) saying he/they are in better form. So what happened to the player(s) earlier who were appreciated so much before and included in the team? How their form got bad without playing? In this case they first included VRV singh and Suresh Raina and they were not in playing 11, and now they are thrown out from the team and replaced by Yuvraj and Munaf. No doubt Yuvraj deserve to be in team but if raina was not supposed to be in playing 11 why was he in 14? IF VRV was not supposed to be in playing 11 why was he in team? it proves that selection comety is doing COMEDY and nothing else. It is pity that such a popular game of INdia is being governed by such people whose own form of selecting team is always under question. NO one knows when BCCI will have really efficient team with real brain who perform consistently good and without any politics and greed of money.
For those who are worried that there is an inadequate representation of the Muslims in the Indian Army, let them rejoice the fact that the National Cricket Team has more than made up that decifit....waiting in the wings are Abid nabi and good old Zaheer Khan :-)
MORE should replace Dhoni as he is keeping well for Chappel - the Indian coach. MORE knows what to drop and what to take and so the right replacement of present wk Dhoni.
If Suresh Raina has now been dropped, was he selected with the sole purpose to keep Ganguly out? They should have atleast kept him in by extending the strength to 16. He would have had lot to learn, or is it that Chappell thinks that learning is secondary now that Ganguly has been ousted, his primary motive?
