I am surprised the way BCCI functions. At one hand BCCI President Sharad Pawar says, Ganguly will play, and at the same time Selection Chief says there is no chance for Ganguly to get back in Indian Team. What does it show? Politics on its peak in BCCI. To settles scores with Dalmiya, BCCI is targeting Ganguly. Chappel is being used by More and others. This is only my view.
It seems Ganguly\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s selection or rejection has become a national debate. Thanks to media for making this non issue a BIG issue. I fully agree that BCCI has been run by politicians throughout and not by players. But if you look at this Ganguly issue has been/is being blown out of proporation. Why are people supporting Ganguly so blind that they are not looking at his latest statistics. There are new talents in our country who must be groomed before the World Cup. No one should be above the game Be it Sachin or Sehwag or Dravid.If they dont perform they should be out.
Considering the craze of media and the people.. the best solution would be Send SMS and select the team. let the game go to hell.
Going by the statements of Selector More that a issue of Ganguly has been left now and there was no question of reinstating in Indian team.He himself should think that what kind of player he was ? How he batted in his own days.According to me,Selectors have the job to take right persons but not playing with the cricket in political way. Also, one thing is clear that majority of Indian players support Ganguly.This is the fear is Chappel and Dravid that if he comes ,there may be chance their position will be in jeopardy.Dravid knows better. In coming days,there will be many players who will be ousted one by one .It may be turn of Sehwag,Zaheer Khan,Harbhajan and may be Sachin.
