Coach c and b Board !

The not so sporting comments in a foreign daily and the long delay in admitting the mistake were certainly not in good taste. The furore in the media over the damaging comments shows the ethical vibrancy of our Indian media. Managers and Coaches privileged to be incharge of our teams and more so the National Teams need not rush headlong doing damage to their own credibility publicly. Our players have been icons bringing glory to our country for decades. Less constructive utterances during the last overseas assignment and the recent uncharitable outburst in a foreign daily have not been appropriate and pleasant for those playing nor watching the Gentleman's Game. Many among us feel that at the end of the day, a healthy combination of work ethics and speech ethics is what most of us look forward to in many parts of the civilised world from those wanting admiration and applause for their expertise. Demonstrating a healthy attitude in thought, word and deed is the duty of every great sportsperson, present or past. Otherwise it is no sports but pure rough labour for survival in some farm. As far as declaration of any sorts is concerned, experts say, sense of timing is equally important.

Good sportsmandship shown by Chappel

It was great on the part of Chappel to having accepted his mistake. We Indians have culture forget and forgive if one confesses. Even confession is accepted in Christianity. Therefore, Ganguly should also forget and forgive the comments of Chappell. I think he is being instigated by his god father i.e. Dalmia who wants t take advantage of this small erring on the part of Chappell. He should realise that he is a bigger culprit having done a big GHAPLA with the public funds and still roaming about free and now talks about the present coaches faults.

Greg dare to say the reality, nothing wrong
by Ramdas on Mar 06, 2006 10:49 AM

A lot of cry for Ganguly, I don't Greg has done something wrong. He dare to say the reality about Ganguly. Why Ganguly crying for place in the team now. He know the real fact, his performance since last two years were very poor. He was the captain of the team, so that was a member of the team.
See, what is his physical fitness. Once he failed with bat since long time, he is nothing for the team. He is not a good fielder, he is not a hard worker in the field.

So, the team management, after giving enough time to ganguly, dropped him from the team. Is it wrong ? Then why he is crying. Let him sit and look back his own performance since last two years and realise the fact.

When, Ganguly crying for a place in the indian team, i.e. he is crying for money.

Then who is wrong Greg or Ganguly ?

Chappell should apologize to Indian public in "the Guardian".He should be ousted from India at the earliest.I don't think his coaching is doing any good for India.
