england batted vey well. At last Indian spin at home pitch is neutralized. England have showed great charcter and application against such home crowd and weather. It is rubbish to tell about dropped catches and bad umpiring. If it was India who scored so many runs no one would have cared dropped catches and bad umpiring. We would appreciate Jaffers and Kaifs for their excellent batting.
It was frustating experience to see the batting of INDIAN team in this test match. The team which appeard to be inwinsible in the pakistan appeared to be packed with boys of "gali cricket".I know the simple reason for this is less pratice and wastage of time.Everyone got excuse for that now, may be team india will comment about busy schedule and sehwag about less chance of pratice.Yes you can now draw the test at best but what about the advantage given by lower ranking national team. Who defeated the same england side in just concluded pratice match.Don't expect with sachin any more.He has already played his part and still used to play his part in time and again. The major quarry arises with sehwag, laxman, dhoni, dravid, kaif (you even can't be excused off so slow strike rate, you are not anil kumble who is supposed to save one end). If after playing more than 100 one day matches you are still peforming such in one day and test matches) you won't be carried any more. Either to perform or be ready to face same situvation as faced by ganguly. Names just should not be carried any more with indian team, if they wishes to win world cup. Else at best you can be in final but not winner.
I couldn't understand why indian selectors are doing such kind of things. Kaif should not be choosen for first test against england. Why he has been choosen? There is no logic of moving with four bowlers in test matches? If you are not confident even with equipped with five world class batsman then there is no mean of searching for bowlers. Its right due to because of only kaif, they got out of trouble but what next now? If you was having such a bright performance of Munaf Patel then what was logic to opt him out of team. Why you opted VRV Singh, if you has decided not to give him chance for test match? Kaif is still not performing up to the mark either in test match or one day. Why still he is always carried out? If you really wanna win world cup then change your policies. We are getting bright players, Munaf Patel, VRV singh, Raina, chawla. Players like kaif and laxman has already been given so many chances to prove their worth. Now yuraj is fit for second test, munaf has already proved his worth against them. VRV singh speed can't be ignored from prospect of world cup. Replace laxman=yuraj,harbhajan=munaf, kaif=vrvsingh,raina=jafer(looking world cup )
