The whole issue is the making of Ganguly. Actually his miscalculation. By crying out "The coach wanted me to step down", he thought he will be a hero and be captain of team India for ever... The coach is hired to build the team. Greg hit the nail on the head when he said that. I dont think any team in modern day cricket can afford to have an non-performing captain. Greg, i believe is the savior of Indian cricket. I am tired of seeing the foolish grin on Ganguli's face when he returns to the pavilion out after playing a stupid school boy cricketing shot in two or three overs. Just I cannot stand it.....
It is just that Sourav Ganguly is a bengalee, he has been thrown out of the team in such a manner. Had Sourav Ganguly been Sourav Tendulkar, or Sourav Gavaskar or Sourav Dev, Then the most successful Indian Captain would have been given a decent farewell. So it is high time that Bengalees rise and protest against Pawar and company and file Defamation case against Chappell and drag others to Court asking them to give the justification about Sourav's ouster. I have a suggestion for Sourav, DO WHAT KEPPLER WESSELS DID Stop playing for India and lead other International team to win the World Cup.
The comments made by Chappell was definitely unwarranted.This has done more harm to the nation than anything else. Some irresponsible BCCI members, does a simlpe thing by warning Chappell, it does not wipe away the dirt that Chappell has stewn on the nation. He should be show caused and be made liable to answer to waht he has said. As quoted by a journalist in an TV Channel that Ganguly had offered to help Chappells ailing mother ( as Chappell had spent a lot of money on her mothers medical expenses)is true then this man is worst than an animal.This incident if true then proovs what a great hearted man Ganguly is. And Ganguly would never run after money as he has enough from his parental business. He can keep many chappells at his home free of cost.
I do not know if this message would ever be published and if it does then people would be knowing the inner facts of Chappells motive.
Greg Chappell might have been one of the best cricketers of his time, but sorry to say that man has no common sense. I think only Chappell and God knows what is exactly his problem with Ganguly. The way he keeps putting his foot in his mouth shows his insecurity where Ganguly is concerned. Even Ganguly's worst enemies would never say that he plays for money or that he is dependent on that for his livelihood. I think Greg Chappell is turning insane and he should just take a break and go and treat himself. Ganguly is the best captain India has ever had and there is no one who has supported youngsters like how he did. Yuvraj Singh, Dravid and rest of the gang should only be grateful to Dada for his unflinching support towards them when the same Kiran More and his selection committee were gunning for their heads. GANGULY YOU ARE THE BEST AND WE ALL LOVE YOU.
Ganguly does not require any proof of his wealth and position but Mr Chappel why have you flown all the way from Australia for a job iN INDIA?Ithink you need more money than Ganguly and to have a solid grip on it you have applied your dirty mind to remove Ganguly from the team.But Mr Chappel you are forgetting one thing Ganguly has probably more fans than your Countries population.
