as i personally rated as a batsman to dravid in toper than other indian player because he played for india as per situation& he give so many wins to india in difficult condition,as we see the tendulkar ,he is not a macth winner performer,he only play for himself.as we see to to ganguly he is great captain & batsman .
I think he has played many a important innings for india.But as far as i remember in test cricket the innings which he played against england in helpful conditions for bowlers at headingly was probably the best.It was some 140 0dd.Although afterwards even tendulkar and ganguly went on to score centuries in same innings but when dravid came into bat conditions were tougher. So i think tht was the best.
no doubt dravid is good player but he is not a good captain.because of our selectiors they play a rajniti with saurbha gaguly he is really very good player and very good & sucessfull caption we won so many serier under his captainci .In world cup we need a experience captain otherwise we are anable to rich semi final also . w
But don't you think he should be responsible for India's loss to WestIndies... When it seems rain may come and we have rule for Power play then why he has gone for power play from 11th to 20 th over.......he could have spread his fielders that time and reduce the west Indies score and in that case we would have won the match...........
as per my opinion dravid's best knock in one day is century with saurabh gangugly against sri lanka in a leauge match in world cup 1999. i have never seen him scoring runs so quickly after that.it was a do or die match for india.
it was a fine innings as aus scored above 550 and india scored above 530 with dravid making above 230 following with 70 notout in second innings to guide india to victory
