I just want to say one thing that master is master and that is sachin tendulkar. Today and in future even cricket without sachin is just like field cricket without empire.
I just hope sachin will be the top scoring batsman in the upcoming world cup 2007
I think he just need to take care of first few balls he faces. Once he goes through that with an aggressive attitude no bowling attack can stop him from scoring tons. He just needs to concentrate on his batting as he was doing all these years rather than his critics. By the end of his career he will be right up there that is above Ricky Ponting.
Listen critics, you often say that Tendulkar is selfish ? Can you tell me how ? Is it because he have scored so many centuries ? Do you mean that in order to be a team player one should not score centuries or break records ? Is it Tendulkar's fault that when the team fails, he scores a century and puts India to a decent total ... and afterwards the opposition team plays better than the whole of Indian team and then India loses ? What's Tendulkar's job in the team ? His job is to score runs as a batsman. If he does his job successfully, but the rest fail to support him, and thus India loses the match, is it Tendulkar's fault ? In that case Andy Flower should be the most selfish player in the world since Andy Flower was Zimbabwe's best batsman and almost whenever he scored, Zimbabwe lost !!
