well done India

India has proved in this test match that they have still potential in their batting line up .
After losing in ONE day series with huge margin they have risen again in this test match (2nd) and also the previous one in which they are very close to victory

Dear Prem Panicker,
I am not sure if you would be reading this. If you do, can you reconsider your style of writing. May be I am the only one who feels this way, but I guess I want read the report to know how the play went on but not how the COMMENTATORS went on. All your previous reports were great. But again may be just this test, the commentators might be doing a terrible job prompting you to do this..

Again I appreciate yours reports a lot..

Why is it a top story when the WC is going on ...

Just wondering why the lousy match between Ind and WI is a top story when the greatest sports on the earth is going on! We really need to see clearly on a) should we continue to focus on the lousy game like cricket which is played meaningfully only by 6-7 countries and apart from Indian sub continent; even in tose countries; they are #4 or #5 in the popularity! or b) should we focus on Football ; Hockey and Athletics more and get some true world recognition ? Choice should be simple I think though our lousy cricketers will get 'poorer' a bit!

We could have focussed if only our teams in those respective sports start doing better. What with every team is ranked way behind and we lose 99% of our matches. Let them come up and we'll start supporting them. At least in cricket we see that we win 60% of our matches in the recent past.
Just like the movies...we only watch well made movies...we cannot support bad movie makers...Either they make better ones or perish. Same with sports...either entertain or perish...
