There are still some doubts regarding the action of Muralitharan.I personally feel that he bends his arm more than permitted. May be his records are great.But he will not as great a bowler as Kumble or Warne because of this controversy.Even Harbhajan had some problem early in his career but I think he has rectified it.Murali persists on it saying that it is some congenital anomaly. It is an unacceptable explanation.I think most of his deliveries are no-balls , especially the 'dhoosra'.
Thriskotic and Strauss gave a good start and the first wicket fell at 84. All of a sudden England batsmen lost their cool and touch and meekly surrendered to just one bowler. Panesar showed, within his limited experience and capacity how to deal with Murali. Other seniors should learn from him.
Englad had a fair chance of winning the match, but lost the battle.
