INDIAN BATTING COLLAPSE
by sujeeth on Jun 04, 2006 01:47 PM

On Newpapers, media and playing on Indian soil Indian batsman are tigers but not on outside pitches .This has proved once again.
No one shown enough responsibility of there innings except Dravid to some extent. All Indian stroke palyers are going after the ball just like oneday but not played like test match resulted collapse.

The future of Indian cricket team will still worsens after the retirement of RAHUL. Since he the only consistent and reliable player who has the ability to stand on any wicket, build the patnerships and putting his sincere efforts, which has not seen in any current player and these people finish the game but cannot build the panterships which is the prime requirement for any form of cricket.
If the Chappel want to build the future team he has keep this in mind since Indian Team minus Dravid will all out for 100-150 out of 8/10 games. He is concentrating more on ODI not on Test team. This is fact every one has to realize and no can change unless the dirty poly-tricks are playing within our great BCCI body exists.

While some of the so called senior players have been casual and seem to be suffering from lack of self confidence, some youngsters like Srershant, VRV and Dhoni need continuous conuselling. They should be encouraged to observe the batting / bouling of the opponents. In the opposite camp too most of them are young and inexperienced, but they are more motivated and committed.

Indian team should not let WI to grasp the initiative. They should take it as a 'do or die' battle.

Gone with the WINDIES

Team India left with High Hopes-First series win in after 34 years!

Results--Only the Apollo hospitals can doctor the performance certificate.

The team is paying the price for some questionable & purely egoistic selection decisions taken by those who matter. It doesnot help one bit when the captain is TOO much of a gentleman & makes all the politically correct statements. we need Captains who are strong & don't hesitate to speak the mind for the team's sake. Man like Imran Khan who refused to be in the team if his decisions were not accepted. Surely Dravid can't please all people at all times. Team should have taken a strong stand when Ganguly was treated so unfairly. If all the players had put up a united front, Kiran More & Co could never have dared to fool around. But then personal gains do come in the way!

Its sad that Dravid had forgotten that he had no place in the team not too many summers ago, & it was only because of Ganguly that he could hang on to his place as a WK. He had performed & improved, but the chance to do so was definitely provided to him.

Greg should clarify his decisions & BCCI should not become the BOARD OF CROOKS & CHEATS IN INDIA.
