Though i'm not an avid cricket fan, but i keep track of the happenings though. The CM's intervention in sports was unasked for & that too lobbying for Police Chief, only proved that how corrupt our politicians are.
I'm happy that Mr. Dalmiya, who was a deserving candidate won the elections. As for Sourav Ganguli's career, he should be banned from the Cricket Assntn.
for involving himself in dirty politics.

What happens behind the TV screen, the cricket lovers neither know nor are interested. But one thing is true that Mr Dalmiya has brought enough glory to Indian Cricket ,definitely NOT as a player but as a captain of the ship driving the multi billion cricket industry .We ,the cricket lovers of the country, only hope that Mr Dalmiya shall take forward Indian cricket and NOT the legacy information/debate/heart burning/E mails which media have been publishing over the last couple of months, including the report published in media on 30th July, apropos the book "Indian Summers" by John Wright and released in New Zealand on last Thursday.

Enough for the time being.

"Miya"ji Aap Sob Purana Kahani Gaddha Mein "Dal" Ke Cricket Ko Age Le Chaliye,Yeh Meri Hope Hai..

HAPPY CRICKETing....

Thanx..

Very bad day for West Bengal cricket and national crickset. Here is a man who is under clouds and has not been able to clear himself as yet of alleged financial irregularities. Peooples' memory is too short or, can I say, crooked!

Mr. Vishwanathan,
I would like to draw your attention towards your spelling mistakes before I educate you about Mr.Dalmiya. There has been financial allegations against the former PM (Narasimha Rao) of the country, was he exonerated? Answer is, no. Have you ever researched that the onus of financial irregularities put on Mr.Dalmiya have all taken place when M R Schindhia was the BCCI president!! Sharad Pawar camp has set up baseless allegations against Mr.Dalmiya so that they can use BCCI as their fiefdom and plunder the wealth.Remember, it was Pawar who was responsible for Dawoods escape, was elected out of Maharashtra, was defeated by a heavy margin at the Congress presidency by Sitaram Kesari, and finally kicked out of Congress(I). Would you trust a guy who has so many defeats, or someone tactically astute like Dalmiya? Mr.Dalmiya has headed ICC, controlled BCCI, CAB and was the winner of a famous Sports Administration Award!!!
Grow up mr Vishwanath come up with valid arguments before you vilify such a weel-proven sports administrator. I have already put your comments into shambles so better come up with something valid.
