Who cares ! Manjrekar may be right,I am no longer interested in Indian mediocre team. I shifted my loyalities to Lankan team and enjoying the solid cricket played by the Islanders.

Sai's letter

I loved Sai's message a lot! What all he has written is truth to a core. Sanjay Manjrekar was one of the worst OD batsmen ever born on mother earth. It was a nightmare to watch him playing a ODI and his feilding was even pathetic. Who has given him the right to comment on senior players like KUmble and Tendulkar. He has to live life 100 times to reach at their level. Could someone ask this jerk to keep quiet and better comment on Mohalla matches rather than test cricket.

i think sanju's comments against his junior partner from mumbai were more to do with his personal changed feelings towards sachin.

though sachin always on record gave credit to sanjay for his success and confidence during his debut series in pak, sanju did not show that kind of humility towards sachin.

do not bring in your personal feelings to defame sachin, we all indians feel is our cricketing god and will remain so for generations to come. no sanjay not again. do not say anything against the likes of sachin and dravid who always wanted their team win and give their best best and best.

I think we do not have a long memory. In 1992 world cup, Manjrekar played very consistently and played exceptionally well after Azhar.
Manjrekar was an excellent player who suddenly went in to a circle of lack of form and could not come out. There was a time, when he was the only player performing when everyone else was down. His great series in Pakistan and West Indies against the likes of Imran, Wasim and Marshal were still some of the best performances from Indians abroad.
Now coming to the point, while there were many people like R Mohan and Harshad Bogle (who never played any great cricket) talking cricket, why cant Manjrekar give his opinions?
I believe we can disagree with him but need not talk about his cricket performances and rule him out for any comments.
best regards,
Raja Mohan

Who cares what you say?

Yo Dude,

Do people really care what you say?.. you are one of the most pathetic commentators we have! Agreed your English is good. But I certainly don\'t like the holier than thou attitude of yours and the negativistic portrayal of Indian Cricketers on the field. I haven\'t heard too many positive words from your mouth at the Indian teams hour of need.

You certainly want to make an outwardly neutral impression by going over the board in praising the opposing team. Dude, don\'t forget that Indian Cricket Lovers are the ones fetching you money. I mean compare yourself with other contemporary commentators of repute. Those guys draw a line between the wants of the audience they cater to and being neutral. Their support is always with their team during marginal decisions/close decisions like an LBW or a run out. But you, u idiot!, always seem to be bent on proving ur neutrality ...

You were probably one of the worst ODI cricketers of your time and u were solely in the team because u were from Mumbai and the son of a former cricketer .. .. we used to yawn when u came to the crease .. so please shut up and take a break .. have a kitkat!.. commentory is not ur cuppa tea ..

I think he is thinking he is the ultimate person to comment on the present indian team.

In his coulumn he is mentioning indirectly when it comes to past exeperiene and performance he is supporting Anil kumble and in Sachin's case he is mentioning not to take the past performances.

On the top of it when Dinesh Mongia in full form in the last world cup he is not yet performed at all.

To attract peoples attention only he is talking all unnessary things.
