Double Standards
by Ash on Jul 14, 2006 12:29 PM

Hi,

Why does Australia employ double standards when it comes to playing in sub-continents?

Whenever there is a tragedy in the sub-continent they decide to cancel the tour or do not visit that place like in Sri-lanka,Pakistan and now thinking of India.

But when they were playing the Ashes in UK, they did not cancel the tour when there were attacks on London.

Why are there double standards employed by ACB?

Thanks

Double Standards!

is that incredible double standards? LAst year the ashes went ahead among two blasts in commuter trains in London. This year, even though the event is a few mos away, Aus is trying to give an excuse for preparing for Ashes.
India and SL are always unfairly victimized here.

Keep Aussies Out of ICC

Aussies are not the only team playing the champions trophy. The way , they have backout out of most tours on security reasons , they might as well play only in their backyard and only in England .

Cowardice
by Shailesh Dhuri on Jul 13, 2006 04:52 PM

Australians are cowards, giving in to terrorist demands and threats. It is because of this cowardice, the terrorist achieve their objective of spreading fear; and through fear they hope to achieve their sinister motives.

I condemn the security review by these coward Aussies.

aussies shoud definetly consider before coming to india because they know the value of theire citizen, in india there is no value of a common man's life, every country is responsible for theire citizen but in india a common men are the prime victims of these types of attacks. none of the powerful, politicians are die in these types of attack, now every country should avoid india so that our idle government will do something. otherwise here we will have to die in the name of spirit .

In case of security concerns, I think terrorst have never attaked any players and for austrelian i dont think there should be any threat of terror as their country is not actively involved in war against terror. They should not make hue and cry of security issue in India. India is still a very safe place to live. If they vidraw their participation then there will be less intrest in tournament.

Australians would do a great service to India by cancelling the tour. Then and only then indians will open their eyes to the terrorism being perpetrated on them. These daaru-drinking and fun-loving so called kirket lovers otherwise would never realize that there is always something beyond 24 hour fun and frolicking! At times it is pathetic to see teenagers knowing nothing of cricket wasting hours together with daaru glasses in hand and a cigarrette dangling from the lips and discussing kirket without understanding any head or tell of the game.
